Why is college grad photography more expensive? Like I know why, because they can charge what they want and people will pay it, but in real terms that's rubbish for the customer 😔 it's like wedding anything being more expensive just because it's a wedding 😒

That's not true. You can get cheaper items and do as well. Weddings are expensive because people want perfection and won't stop until it's perfect. If it's not perfect they're not happy.

@@listay1 Do you agree with me or no? I can't quite tell. I would think you judge a photographer on the quality of their work and their pricing shouldn't be based on the event type but the quality of product they provide. So a person with a DSLR and Lightroom could call themselves a photographer but the difference in price is that of the final product, which should be evident from a portfolio. You shouldn't be charged more because it's college graduation vs high school.

There's a tad more stress on a live, important event like a wedding. People are paying for a reliable, professional photographer and that costs money. How can you even compare that to a staged, still photograph?
