All the other videos on RU-vid do not make the dorms look very nice, but yours looks awesome. I’m going to ODU in the fall and I haven’t been able to see the campus or anything because of coronavirus so it’s kinda scary for me that I’ve never been there💀

hey! so i’m moving in rogers this august as a freshmen so how far is the walk from the main campus, i have heard from ppl it is the “ghetto” LOL but yk it’s a place to live haha but i just wanted to know :)

First and foremost, your dorm room looks amazing! My daughter will be attending ODU in the fall. Due to COVID19 we’re not sure if a tour will be allowed before the fall semester. So I’m hoping you would be able to answer a few questions when it comes to the dorms? 1). Would you know the measurements under your bed so I know what size storage containers I should buy? 2). Can you use Tide pods in the washing machines? I thank you in advance for your answers and good luck s difficult time ❤️

Thank you! Congratulations on her acceptance!!! I'm not quite sure what the measurements are under the bed, but they are XL twins. ODU does have the option to raise your bed to the highest level so you can fit whatever you need underneath it. Which is what I chose to do, and I was able to fit 1 Sterilite Wide 3 Drawer Weave Tower and 2 Sterilite 4 Drawer Medium Weave Tower storage containers and my fridge (1.7 cu ft) under there. And I never had a problem using Tide Pods in the washing machines. If you have any more questions I'm here to help!!

do you think whitehurst or rogers hall is better? I have to pick tonight and i’m honestly not sure what to try to go for. I heard whitehurst is older and further away so i’m honestly really stuck!! also can you have stick on led lights in the room or is it a fire hazard?

I think that Rogers in better in my opinion the only factor is that it’s kinda far from the campus but since I was late It was either this or Whitehurst and I chose Rogers because it’s better suited for me.

Could you make a video on going to ODU as an out of state student. Like cost, adapting to the change, making friends etc... I’ve been really looking at this college for my freshman year and I’m from CT and just want the POV of someone whose gone through the change.
