So excited for you to come to the U! The campus is super chill. Everyone does there own thing. People are always working on homework everywhere around campus like the library, the union, the heritage center, etc. The winters here are cold so pack warm clothing and layer your clothing as well. You will also need some nice snow boots to walk around campus in. We have had one snow in day so far but that’s the fun part about it. I love it here and I hope you love it too!!
Good question! Since I live in California, I ended up renting a storage unit in Utah to store all of my dorm room decor and furniture. This will make it easier for me to move in next year as well.
I am going to U of U in the fall what layout is this room, and do you share a bathroom with others or do you have your own? Your video is helpful to see the actual layout of the room, thank you
Awesome! Can’t wait to see you around campus! I will be doing a full Sage Point tour soon. Also, it depends on which layout you have but for mine, I have four roommates with two bathrooms and we each have a single room. I definitely recommend Sage Point with a single room
Heyy so I'm considering going applying to U of U and just have a few questions (if you see this haha). I was wondering if there's a party culture and is that something a lot of people get into? Also, how much of the student body is lds/mormon?
Hi! That's a great question, there are a lot of parties at the U which are usually held at the frat houses. They usually have one every weekend. And there is a good amount of LDS students. If you hang around the institute, you'll meet all kinds of new friends ;)
I heard bed risers aren't allowed, but you seem to have some? Am I hearing wrong info or do they just not really care? The bed height options are just so limited.
Does University of Utah have some kind of need-based aid? And does the aid cover dorms? As an international student these are super important to me! :) Andddd can I work on campus as an international student?
Hey girl!! Those are all great questions however I’m not sure. I’m pretty sure if you look on the u of u website, they will answer all your questions! :)
We do! I completely forgot to show it in this video, however, if you would like to see the inside of the closet, I showed it in my sage point tour video!
