Worst hit of this video in my opinion was at 12:44. Landed straight down on his head.. Compression hits can paralyze someone of be fatal. Glad he popped up
Colorado’s d-linemen look the same size as one of Bama’s backup MLB’s, Kendrick Blackshire. Who was 6’2 245 all muscle as a recruit. I wonder how many 300LBS players they actually have on that team. I’d guess 2 at most and I’d bet their upperclassmen. Coach Sanders can get all the 5 star CBs or top100 WRs but unless he recruits well on the o-line/d-line then playing backyard football like his team is currently doing is eventually gonna fizzle once his QB son is gone.
@@kalen1702I agree with this. It isn’t even remotely a bad thing that coaches are now teaching the players safer tackling techniques and going overboard/trying to be malicious will get you flagged. You can still make great plays on the ball as a DB or any other defensive position without launching/targeting. As much as a flag from a “hands to the face” that barely touched the QB angers me, there’s good reason why it’s there. I do wish we’d bring back intentional/unintentional targeting though. In a split second a offensive player could lower his helmet to the defender’s and the defender gets the penalty.
@@kalen1702sorry but you’re in a very small minority with that opinion. The majority of people want to see big hits and collisions. That’s why contact sports exist.
