Its so sick that they based the FCS teams on youtuber NCAA 14 teams. Shows that the devs really care about the community. FCSSE is gonna be on all of our schedules every year
@@macgoldie7771probably not but the devs my have added it just because of all of the fans of this game probably would want to play for the team builder dynasty’s they watched
I really appreciate the nods to the dynasty RU-vidrs. That really shows a level of respect and appreciation for them. Gives me even more hope for the entire game
The skills tree sounds a lot like NFLHC09. Where you have to supplement your coordinators and skills coaches. As it takes years to become the godly 100 overall coach.
The only thing I wish they did different so far, is use general positions for players and you do your depth chart based off that. Instead of recruting a LE they would be recruited as an Edge and you could slot them in on either end or LB in the right scheme. Instead, now you have to search and recruit for the LEs, the REs, the LOLB, the ROLB.
I have a stupid idea. Drew, you should play College Football 25 with a 'NTE All-Star Roster'. Basically, take the greatest players from all of your teams and play with them. The dominance would be epic as all your icons gel together
This is pretty hype. The attention to detail like the progression of helmet stickers for player accolades and patch & field logo change when you switch conferences. That’s cool as hell
There are so many amazing things they’re including that I can’t even fathom some of it, but the gem/bust system returning was near, if not at, the top of my list. It’s just that sweet feeling of finding that good player that no other team is looking at.
i cant wait for ugf pandas in this game i love how in depth and actual care put into the game the fact that everything can change based on bad descisions and locations is amazing deal breakers is also a interesting concept that makes you choose one path
I hope I can create a player. Drew thank you for sticking it out. Recently seen my favorite ncaa RU-vidr call it quits. I’m happy to see you picking it back up.
man i love seeing the youtubers get some love with the fcs teams in the new game.... you guys really carried the years when their wasn't a game and will continue to carry the new game. Much love
And then don't put in real FCS teams. I mean look at FC24 they have dozens of leagues and tournaments and all their correct formats. But CFB25 only focuses on only half of Division 1. The game really should have at least FCS, but it should have D2 and D3 too. The fact NCAA on PS2 had the FCS teams and not on PS5 is just sad
Howdy Drew, I just discovered your channel looking for college football 25 stuff. Great coverage btw. Started checking out pandas and moon men play lists, also great. Looking forward to seeing more from you with the new game!
LOVE LOVE LOVE the recruiting! I’m gonna get everyone by this one tip I always did! Assign your freshman and guys that don’t play specific formations! USE YOUR FORMATION SUBS! It’s super important especially now for playing time, wear and tear, and keeping your starters fresh.
Ok I think I can conclude that this same freakin player on everyone’s thumbnail committed to Bama since multiple sources agree on the matter. Very important information.
I like the idea of schools taking their personality and sticking to it but as a sandbox element I’d like the idea of in the extreme long term (like 10 maybe 15 years of consistency) to change a schools playing culture like if you build an absolute dyansty around a certain play style like iron clad defense then maybe the school can become known for it and attract that kind of attention
Trying to find out if there will be something like a "garbage time" mode/setting that you can use (for games played and/or sim games) that automatically rotates in your backup players when the game has reached a certain status of winnability. You can obviously do this manually while playing a game, but it would be very time consuming and does not address simulated games. This would be ideal both for upping your snaps for developmental players, preventing injury for your starters, and overall mirroring real life.
Only 10min while watching this on my lunch and I'm just way too excited I can't wait for this game. Got a few days off for the week it's out and I'll definitely be wasting my money on 100$ edition to get that early access!! Can't wait for the first NTE dynasty in this game!!
It would be really cool if piplines could improve/degrade over time so if say Texas A&M has a dominant streak over LSU, A&M can take over east texas. or if Florida is really bad and falls of the central Florida pipeline can be taken over by a different school.
I do kind of wish pipelines could change, but that it was just hard to change, or the degree of change was limited or smth. You can build up a presence in different areas over years
Having the option to hire coordinators is so damn great to hear. It was a pain going through new coodinators nearly every year without retaining one and not having the option of hiring one in NCAA Football 14. So damn hyped much more!
Not sure how to implement it, but I’d love to see a way to build a new stadium. You start with Death Vally State and their 10k capacity. After 5 years they are 4 or 5 star program getting major bowl bids. There should be a way to update or expand the stadium.
I really disagree with the pipelines not being able to change, and here’s why: if I’m 10 years in a dynasty as App State, I could have recruited maybe 1 5 star who goes on to have a heisman career. I would argue players from his home state would be more open than he initially was. Also 10 years and the max of 30 years is a long time, some of these powerhouse schools weren’t powerhouses 25 years ago
I agree, this was a poor decision in my opinion. The fun is building a small school into a national powerhouse, not taking over an already established program. It shouldn’t be easy, but possible at least.
This is a great video. The way you describe dynasty makes you feel like you can’t build a super dynasty with a small school anymore. Prestige doesn’t change etc
I absolutely love the way they are doing pipelines now and the realism of what areas have what types of players. That's dope. Breaking up states into regions and not allowing us to just get 4 borrom roster players to make it a strong pipeline was cheesing anyway. I just hope if you want to make an area an area of focus for your new job we can make it a pipeline eventually
Can your team prestige go up? So if we all start online dynasty with central Michigan, Toledo, eastern Michigan…. Can you turn them into a 5 star prestige school after years to easily get better recruits?
a couple things i am curious about. Will we ever get college to madden draft exporting? maybe make a feature where certain players can have their names and likeness changed when exported, for the real life college players so it pleases the NFLPA? also, can we keep history books in game, showing players you recruited exclusively and seeing how your players match up? And what about two way players, can we see a 11 man roster team in this game? Its the first year so we will see where they take the game, but the sky is the limit if they dont fall into the same rut we had with madden for a while.
I'm still waiting to know if you can create custom recruits and if you can edit the game's generated recruits names. If I recruit a 2 star RB, I want to be able to re-name him to Cheeks McGee or Blast Jackson or w/e
I don't like playing football games, but i watched this whole video just because I'm so excited for what you have in store for you next dynasty and the future of your channel
Nice I know the patch on the field would change to the current conference but the jersey patch would stay the same, so im glad they finally have the jersey patch update in
It'd be awesome if in next year's edition you could have custom helmet stickers, where you could choose to allocate the stickers yourself based on how you think your players did.
This college football seems like a mixed of NCAA football 13+14. Because if you remember 13, if you make promises the recruit will stay longer or leave if you don't honor it. Like playing in your home state, winning record against rivals, and many many more. Seems like 14 because of different this you need help your team with like recruiting, schemes, other stuff from 14 if you are coach. Honestly my worry about the game is Miro transaction down the road because what if they bring back college version of Madden cards. Like what they did in 14. That is my worry. Also I hope create a team is on there because I would like create a team on game instead of using a website to create a team. It is super cool, having something like that but also it worked until it got a lot bugs in it. I'm not trying to discredit the game. I'm seriously hoping the game can make a lot in the future but I also ea is still a business at the end of the day and sometimes they don't use their heads half the time. I get it, they need to make a profit on it because a lot college players signed up to get paid from it but also it is a video game at the end of the day. It is something for entertainment and it is something that people like play and have fun with. I'm just saying I'm honestly hoping it does really well but I don't want it driven into the ground because they are messing with something that makes a lot of people happy and helps people too.
Looks amazing - only thing I don’t like is permanent pipeline grades. Like, if I built up Kennesaw state to a 5 star over 10 years, they should have super strong pipelines, not weak ones! I don’t want to have a back-to-back national champion that can’t recruit 5 stars because we don’t have strong pipelines
I didn’t hear anything about like a news feature like we used to have in NCAA 14. It was barebones back then and I was hoping we’d get an update version of that. Everything else sounds great!
nobody seems to know if we can just coach, not moving the joystick around moving players in game, just do the coaching stuff. That's what makes Goallineblitz a brilliant game, hoping we can do it in this game and still be effective
I'm overall very happy with how dynasty looks and they depth of recruiting and the transfer portal. A couple gripes though. First being that recruiting analysts constantly say that what game a player visits for most of the time is not a factor in how well their visit goes. If anything, lower caliber matchups (like vs FCS) give coaches more time and effort to spend with players, which is better for visits. So I'm disappointed to see that matchup calibers matter so much for visits, because it's not really realistic the way they did it. Second, I'm happy to see the roster number go up to 85, but I do still find it limiting that they can't incorporate walk-ons somehow. Many teams have rosters at or over 100 players when you include walk-ons. Only having like 5 WRs in your room or 4 CBs isn't really realistic anymore, those rooms are often 10-12 deep now. I can't imagine that a roster size of 85 allows that to happen
If this game is a reskin of anything, it’s a reskin of NCAA 14 but 10,000x better. They’ve really outdone themselves. Kept some of the layouts that we all loved but upgraded every last thing. I don’t even have to get on the attention to detail because it’s easily the best we’ve ever seen in a sports game and the gameplay looks phenomenal. I keep telling people, the developers of the last game, people from NFL 2K5 & the guys who were responsible for the incredible Revamped version of 14, have all worked on this game. If you’ve never been able to play the revamped version; this is it coming to life on Next Gen and the detail in that game was just incredible. I am telling you, we are potentially getting the greatest sports game of all time, at least football.
Can’t wait man 16 more days if my calculations are correct😂 i wish i bought the deluxe edition or wtvr to be able to play 3 days early but i ain’t got money like that so standard is the only option! But its just amazing that collage football is back hopefully it is as good as the hype is pushing it out with
Wonder when Team Builder will be active.. Be nice if they activate the site here in the next few days so people can go ahead and start making teams before the game goes live
with the care and attention to detail on this game brings me hope on other games. wished other game developers sees that providing what the community wants equals people buying your product lol.
Already trying to figure out how to build my team and what identity I want; this is really exciting. Wish the team creator was out now so I can play with it.
this sounds great i feel like EA will deliver on the depth aspect, i think everything will be okay, gameplay will be great, dynasty will be fun. But RTG will be a sleeper, from what I've heard it sounds more of clicks then actual gameplay, but I'll still play it anyway
Any idea if it'll keep historical dynasty stats? That's the one thing I always wanted was my record versus every team, number of trophies, last win versus a team, etc. That stuff would make the nerd in me happy.
This is going to be so amazing, except why can’t you play any game you want? It seems like a huge miss to not be able to play through the playoff or rivalry week etc and be stuck only playing with your team??
