Franchise mode was neglected in madden for a long time so the attention to Dynasty mode makes me believe it will be great

no HS is def a major L, every single person here made their own highschool they actually played at and trying to join (or avoid) your HS teammates at a school was so fun. Hope that comes back

I’m happy to hear your clarity on the 10-20 hour story mode for RTG. Initially I thought it meant we’d only get to play 3/4 games per season.

No import is a killer for me, I do all this work and I can’t see my players thru to the league. That was hella fun to go with your guys from college to pros

I wish they would make this game a live service rather than annual release. Just continue to add more content, massive roster and coaching update every year ahead of the draft, and let them really perfect this game rather than trying to reinvent the wheel every year.

I figured exporting to Madden wouldn't be allowed so glad I just ordered College. I only switched to Madden because NCAA went away, time to get back to my roots.

Everything else sounds great, but I'm honestly really bummed about draft classes not being transferrable. They should just have a random roster generation option at dynasty setup if you want to move your draft classes over.

RTG is nothing without the high school experience. Being able to make your uniforms from your original high school. They had the state playoffs!!! Man & the best part which was playing through it all with your player and seeing the recruiting process. Such a let down 💔

for high school, someone will make a custom conference you can play 4 extra seasons with unknown names and custom jerseys and you just play 4 extra seasons if you get what I’m saying

Does no player editing mean you can’t customize their equipment, if that’s true that’s a bummer

Bummer about not editing rosters and exporting draft classes. Hopefully it'll let you edit generic players not representing a real person. and I think it would be cool to generate fictional players for every team, and export them into Madden for those who like fictional draft classes.

I don’t know about the starting in college in rtg the starting in high school earning your stars from play and seeing what colleges were interested was one of my favorite parts of this game now idk if I wanna buy and been keeping up with this for months way to go EA

I hope you can edit some players tho. In my 14 dynasty I would go to a random week team and make QB or HB one of the best and see if that team does any better. Was something different. I’d also create players that were 85-99 overall. And send them to random schools lol

I really hope there is something in the game concerning stadium upgrades/ expansions. Even if they’re incredibly generic, I think there needs to be a way to help a smaller school’s stadium to become more suitable once they become a powerhouse. Having UMass in a 20k seat stadium as an elite team needs to change in my opinion. We will see.

No high school is an L and it will make the mode bad Eric....it literally determined where you got recruited and how many stars your player was.... BIG L WITH NO HS

I hate that you can’t start in HS in rtg. Like you just pick a school without actually earning a scholarship? Also I don’t understand why you can’t play at any position you want. If I wanna play at Left Tackle then let me play at left tackle….

Ngl I do hate not being able to play in high school grinding to become 5 ⭐️recruit. That was one of the best parts about road to glory. Small price to pay for the game coming back so I can live with it 🥹. Hopefully they bring it back in the future tho 🙏🏾🙏🏾

I liked both RTG and Dynasty but I was planning on focusing on Dynasty at drop. Your review might of swayed me to start with RTG. I'm hyped as a trucker I won't be able to play as often as I did in NCAA 14 but definitely happy about playing this one soon

No high school is a major L. It’s the whole purpose of grinding up to become a 4-5 star recruit, while only getting scholarships from certain schools w/certain needs. Hopefully they bring this back come CF26.

Not starting in hs is pretty upsetting

They need to let us see the roster before we sign if were taking over as head coach or even entering the transfer portal

I mostly only care if I can play every other game in Dynasty still other than my team's own schedule. I like running more of a universe mode sometimes than rebuild.

Damn to me it ain’t the biggest deal but not being able to play in Highschool, roster import & was hoping for a NIL add-on. That kind of suck but it is what it is

Is coach mode in dynasty? For anyone who didn't know or forgot it was a play mode in dynasty that allowed you to call plays as a coach and the CPU would control your players and run the play. It felt more immersive than having to actually user-control the players when you're just supposed to be a coach on the sideline. It was an optional setting that was off by default. I'll be bummed if it's not in the game.

Also the no draft class transfers is sad it actually was one of the reasons I played NCAA back in the day it’s like I want to continue the career of the players I played with and a bit easier then editing everything about them in the madden class edit

Yeah bro no Highschool was an immediate deal breaker for me. I only played RTG growing up bc of the excitement of becoming ranked and going through the whole recruiting process. If they add it in the next game I’ll definitely cop.

So with editing players, will we be able to edit computer generated players like new recruits coming in or are we going to be completely restricted? I get that the players in the game can’t be edited but Idk if they are letting us customize the players that were generated by computers

I really like the staff building aspect of the game, adds a bit more immersion, I hope in future games they can add some depth to staff builders. I.e persuading coaches to stay, promoting positions coaches to coordinator roles or hiring position coaches from other schools and promote to coordinator for your own team.

The HS part being gone is such good news to me. It made no difference in the older games. You always got a top school including your favorite school. It was a waste of time and did not impact the end goal.

I about lost it hearing custom conferences but found out that you can't create a unique conference on its own. Damn

I heard some positive stuff but unlike others im hearing a lot of negatives cant export dynasty ,can only play dynasty for 30 years(this is a negative just so we are aware), cant play certain positions in road to glory, cant start in high school which I felt was like a major reason I even played road to glory to start in high school go to college then the pros. I feel like that just means I wont be playing road to glory and until I hear a different thing for a future game I wont be buying that new game. They had 3 years plus since it was announced and give us ultimatums such as do you want the game or take another year(for something that should have been done/figured out by now) very unfortunate.

Havent watched full video but if he doesn’t say it NIL is kind of in the game. Its called brand points its kinda of like recruiting points

Road to glory no high school was extremely disappointing for me atleast the positions are fine but the high school aspect let you play to where ur star/ranking was going to be and receiving offers after games always felt sweet for me

No exporting draft classes LITERALLY kills the purpose of dynasty mode’s depth. Now it’s just a one-trick pony mode where players ultimately go nowhere!!! Not the NFL. Miss me with the “just create a custom draft class in Madden” excuse. There’s no pass for this just because it has been 10 years.

No HS, no exporting draft class, limited positions to play as, fat Ls hope this isn’t just madden that looks really nice. Would rather have the customization options couldn’t care less about real player likeness

The fact that jump around is not in the game is a huge L for me. As someone who worked for the university of Wisconsin, they were going to be my first dynasty for sure. This omission makes me rethink that.

I wish they did stuff like...Say I choose a school like Akron or Bowling Green. Say I build them up. It be cool to see those schools evolve and have bigger stadiums over time. Have more prestige etc.

That’s a weird way of doing RTG. I’m cool with no high school, but I wish they would’ve at least did the Under Armour all American game or some type of combine to determine your rating instead of just picking it.

They should do TV timeouts where they play an actual commercial split screen while your team gets that minute to rest or design a play. It would be realistic.

One thing I hope they add. If recruiting grades are so important I hope if your a successful coach, and move schools they don’t just reset your grades. Kinda like what Deion Sanders did. He changed schools but didn’t lose his notoriety

I’m actually excited for NCAA25. Haven’t played Madden in about 6 years(Madden 28), and NCAA in a decade(NCAA14). My only complaint thus far is, it’s been a decade since the last one, and we’re still stuck at 32 teams in dynasty mode…you’d figure by now it’d be like double that. Not that big of a deal, but still would’ve been nice
