Just proves that college is slowly becoming more and more corrupt with power. Power to brainwash all their dumb students to become activists and propaganda pirates.
Where in the world would you think the athletic commission is about academics?! ATHLETICS not ACADEMICS. The only academic rules were forced to be put in place and not even really followed anymore was the GPA rule. UIL is more about academics than the NCAA is.
READ THIS!!! Luke 15:7 I tell you, in just the same way there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous people who have no need of repentance. 🎉🎉🎉 Is it just wonderful to know that when you are saved, there is a party in Heaven. Just for you. That is how much you matter to God. Believe in the Righteous Almighty God, and be saved. Do you want to have a relationship with someone who loves you beyond any other love. Someone who sacrificed himself for you and everyone on this Earth the one who created the heavens and the Earth be creator of everything do you want to be saved. Do you want eternal life with peace and joy forever your answer is Jesus if you do not know who Jesus is read the following Jesus is the Son of God that came to this Earth to save the people of their sins. when God-created Earth sin same came into Earth and tempted Eve(The first woman) to eat the fruit that God had forbidden her and Adam to not eat. If they do, they will die. Not immediately, but death is certain. Eve ate the fruit and gave Adam some to eat as well. And he did. That showed that humans are sinners and not perfect. That is why Jesus came to Earth to save humans of their sins. This leads to a relationship with God(the main reason) and eternal life. He did that by dying on the cross. 3 days later, he resurrected. The story of Jesus is beautiful. If you do not already have a Bible, purchase one. If you do not have the money, pray to God about you wanting a Bible and if he could please provide one for you. This does not mean a Bible will come from the sky and land on your hands. Pray to God every day. But to not be blabbering that just say a bunch of words to try to impress and show off to other people or to impress. This does not mean long prayers are bad always pray out of the heart. Give thanks also when you pray. The Father (also God) sent his only son Jesus Christ to die for you. Rejoice brothers and sisters because your price was payed by Jesus Christ death. Acts 16:31 They replied, "Believe in the Lord Jesus , and you will be saved- you and your household." 🎉 Jesus loves You, smile, isn't that just amazing❤😊🎉 Keep trying, no matter what problem that you face. The power of God can strengthen you, and help you, just turn to God all glory to the almighty, and only God😊❤😊❤
My mom was an advisor at VA Tech and would tell me about some of the football players with elementary school reading levels. It was never about academics. It's always been about getting the best athletes
@@robertlawrence4719not gonna happen if a sec school has anything to say about it. Just gives them more room to lose. It’ll separate teams talent equivalently. It’s gonna be now possible… but extremely difficult
I don't agree but I don't disagree either. Money is needed to give people a reason to work because if everyone was rich then nobody will want to work besides from trying to provide for themselves. Workers are needed and most of the time these days people don't want to work unless they have to which is where money comes into play. The only big problem is how the government uses it. Their are too many corrupt rich people in the world and they use their money to do things that screw other people over and earn themselves more. Dirty Money would be another term for it. Overall these colleges are doing things based on their own merits and doesn't care if it affects these schools negatively or not.
@@terongarbutt7743I don’t even watch college football. Even I know this isn’t just talk, this is definitely happening. Which makes me not want to watch college football even more haha
@@terongarbutt7743I mean it’s literally always been that in it’s entire existence and it’s just now awarding players the money they deserve as opposed to the rich NCAA owners and coaches getting all the money behind closed doors
@@terongarbutt7743his point isn’t that it’s not happening he is saying that wether is 10 conferences or 2 the end results are the same so he is just talking to be talking or making a big deal out of nothing
Travel is why the coast to coast conferences should not happen. The athletes are students, traveling 13 hours a week to play games blows up their study time. There is more than football & basketball, there is softball, baseball, swimming, track & a lot more. It is taxing to be in an aircraft as often as you are in class.
there are NFL players who are not college graduates when entering the league, but somehow manage to still find time to get there degree while playing a much longer season.
@@chrislong5298 99% of D1 athletes will never be a paid professional athlete. Their education is the only skill that will pay them for life. Sure they can take the minimum hours required to a full time student to compensate for having a near full time job as a starting athlete, but skimping on education to make time for travel & sport is a bad trade.
@@wayneanderson8034Many of these athletes don't care about an education until they are financially set in pro/semi-pro league Cardale Jones said it [unwisely] best, "I came here to play football not play school..."
These schools have more than enough resources to make sure this happens. Notre Dame has played a coast to coast schedule for ever and they are literally one of the if not the best academic institution in the FBS.
So coaches can and have been able to leave any year they want regardless of there contract length but players can't. Got it definitely seems fair. Especially when most kids commit because of a coach and those coaches rarely make it the length of the players career at the same school.
College landscape in football is starting to suck. I feel for the students in other sports that travel a lot already. Will they ever see the inside of the classroom in season
The big conferences will be sending them with tutors, in-flight wifi, and everything they need to be successful. 2020 proved you can learn from anywhere.
College football changed when it became a multi billion dollar industry. It is finally being forced to pay their athletes, who up until now are just about the only employees not being paid.
Yeah it sucks. The NFL bores the shit out of me. I know thats where the best players are but really its 32 teams made up of constantly rotating rosters running the exact same schemes. The worst team in the NFL can beat the super bowl champs and no one bats an eye. College football is exciting because of all the different styles and regions, and huge upsets, and insane fanbases... But pretty soon college football will be just like the NFL and then I'll have to get a real hobby.
I’m sorry but everything you just described happens in cfb too? Constantly changing rosters (people graduating and transferring, new recruits coming in), the worst cfb teams can upset the best (stuff happens all the time, like TCU beating out Michigan), and schools will still do what schools do. Just because (for example) Texas is in the SEC doesn’t mean Texas will have different traditions or fanbases. Texas will be Texas
@@pinkcrewmate8103But in CFB getting beat by a bad team is a big deal and in the NFL it means just as much as getting beat by the best team. If you lose to Vanderbilt then your season is probably over in CFB.
Pretty sure when it's 4th and 2 in the 4th quarter, with a minute left on the clock, I'm not going to care about what conference, NIL deals, or transfers are on the field. I'm just going to enjoy the football being played.
Oh, relax. What makes college football great is the school traditions. What makes you think a school's tradition is going to be ruined because they're in a different conference and their players are getting paid? The reason the NFL sucks is because their isn't that element of college tradition and players are already established. Even among the players that get NIL deals, there is still a strong desire to perform to make the league.
Regionality will come back. Eventually you’ll have two super conferences and for scheduling purposes, they’ll have to break down into divisions which will be regional. The original structure will come back just with a little different look and a different name.
A 12 team championship is the best thing NCAA has ever done what are you talking about. Bowl games were the most boring way to end a sport season in the history of sports. There is a reason so many people watch march madness - its sick
College football is still going to have regional fanbases? With the exception of SEC meat riders college football has always been about teams not conferences.
Comparatively and competitively, the Big XII is losing ground. “No money list or gained” is a success by the conference in managing an emergency. But, it will not be good enough in the near or long term.
Before the NIL I would agree. CFB is a lot like MLB since big schools get the best players like MLB with no cap, same teams are at the top and same at the bottom. Its exaggerated further with NIL.
Yes but now it’s going to be the bigger university with deep pockets that can recruit best players will win. I agree the player should get some money if they have to do advertising, but it’s more of a buy and win is going to ruin it.
@@thecensoredmuscle563that's hardly an equal exchange. Billions for a BS degree full of classes they don't have time to attend and skills they didn’t have time to acquire.
You realize we get to see Michigan play Oregon, Washington, and Ohio State all in the regular season next year? And we’ll get to see Alabama play Oklahoma, Georgia, and LSU? This is bad lol? I guess it’s bad if you’re a Michigan fan because the cupcake schedule is over…
As a michigan fan im 100% for this. Players are starting to finally getting compensated, and schedules are getting better matchups. 4 team playoffs are finally gone. We never have to play Appalachian State again. Dude in the vid is just a hater .
idk i think the poor pac 12 is the conference we should worry about, seeing as it's basically dead. Though I won't lie, I think a larger playoff pool is pretty neat.
NIL is okay, the transfer portal, not so good. Thats the real thing thats going to ruin the sport. It's just going to make walk-ons get poached by the bigger programs.
It will be entertaining to watch. There will be more good matchups. USC, UCLA, Washington, and Oregon had it way easier in the Pac-12. Now they are going to have to outwin each other and the Big Ten teams.
I don't either. These colleges are grooming these young athletes to be bought. Its like looking at a bake sale and you pick whatever you want as long as they have enough money.
Hopefully conferences will start to step in and give more standardized NIL deals that prevent this kind of mess. It would reduce the amount of transfers if they did the contracts right also.
It was better because they played with the love of football and had something to prove(play for NFL money potential). Now they get all that while in college. You'll see the quality of the game decline over time as they have nothing to prove making NFL money while in college.
These big conferences will eventually break down into smaller conferences or at least more than 2 divisions. Will probably see the SEC become just the south and divide into the sec and swc
Weird because that was said before Texas played Georgia, but Texas won that game. That was said about Alabama and Texas won that game too. When exactly is Texas going to become a floor mat again, remind me? Just asking because Texas beat the 2 biggest dogs in the SEC and almost beat LSU in a sh*t season lol. IDK Texas looking pretty good.
He made it sound like the 12 team playoff was a bad thing. Maybe I read to much into how he said it but at least now I can recognize a team as a champion.
SEC will absorb southern PAC 12, ACC, and Big 12 schools. Big 10 will absorb northern PAC 12, ACC, and Big 12 schools. There will then just be the Northern, and Southern power conferences, and they will break down into regional divisions. And then we will have a college version of the NFL with some playoff spots for GO5 schools thats my guess for what college football will eventually turn into
This goes back to the 30 for 30..The big East..talking about Big East Basketball and how it was destroyed by teams joining..in particular..in NCAA football But they follow where the money at..The SEC and Big 10 or 12...Some teams can fit...others don't have any connection to the conference they go to..
Basically you'll have the SEC & B1G conferences monopolizing everything. Whatever is left of the PAC12 and Big XII will have to choose...going anywhere else is a step down
How old are you? College football was ruined by the BCS in 1998..........And when they finally realized the stupid mistake that was, it could not be corrected. Every iteration since then has been equally useless. Everyone gets a bowl game. "Meineke Car Care Bowl" anyone?🤣
I think college football needs some HUGE changes. 1st the schedules. I know studenrs ens school around the beginning of December for winter break but waiting a MONTH to see the semi/finale in the new year. 2nd The playee portal nonsense we have aewn the last couple yeara is ridiculous. 3rd the bowl games....use to be amazing and actually worrh playing. Get rid od them all and jave the 12 team playoffs the bowl games. Move the season up month, have the season end around mid December, even with the new 12 team playoffs
Should've been 12team since the beginning anyways. BCS was flawed, CFP is flawed. It'll always be flawed. It's money ball at its finest. Always was. I mean when is the last time you could go to a College game and pay under 100 for a ticket. Just sayin.
I'm mad Arizona is moving to the Big 12. But now we can't play california teams. We can't play Texas. There is less reginal teams. And traditional regional rivalries are gone except for ASU.
The rich will get richer and have this year. Has trickled down to high school already not just college with NIL. Seeing first hand. Sr transfers to an SEC state and drives a $80,000 NIL car in high school. Others coming as well. High schoolers are getting paid and they aren't going to the NE, they are going to a 250 mile radius from Atlanta.
FCS showed FBS how a REAL college football playoffs is done...Too bad bowl games not part of the 12 team playoffs are being relegated to post season exhibition games where draft eligible players sit out rather than represent their school...Bye college football, it was great fun while it lasted.
I have this so much NIL, super conferences, and more my school is Wyoming and in the next 20 year Wyoming will probably stop their football program along with many other group of 5 schools this sucks
I now seek BLM Land or National Forests to set up steel and plink all day. My dogs get to run. I set up lunch. Relax, shoot, relax shoot. That night I reload. Bye bye NflCAA
Im not sure what people are complaining about. You wanna go back to the BCS era? You wanna go before that where you gotta win a bowl game and hope coaches or AP people who dont/or barely watch other teams to determine the national champion? Do people remember we had co-national champions? Like if you want regional based conferences fine, i understand but some of these conferences didnt adjust and blame the commissioners for this outcome. You cant expect to kickoff games after 10pm EST and expect people on the east coast to watch. Also do people not remember in mid 2010s when the big 12 almost collapsed? This stuff almost happened a decade ago.
All these conference re-alignments, yet notre dame is still independent for football lol P.S. And army, which is bullshit condisdering NM State went to like CUSA or MAC something like that and they were dogshit
ACC, Big 10, and Sec will never be gone. Big 12 will 100% stay to and with this new playoff with 4 teams getting a bye now the best team from each of those conferences would get a bye most of the time so It kinda works out. Only wish the pac 12 was the one to stay ACC to be gone because Pac 12 with the most entertaining conference and ACC sucks
Everything you mentioned is a good thing and is not making college football worse. If the next level for these players is the NFL why shouldn’t it mirror the pros? Players have been getting paid under the table for 100 years…NIL just makes it so that it’s legal and broad daylight now. There is no need for college football to stay regional when we live in such a small world because of social media, and the transfer portal allows the players to go anywhere they want whenever. If you really want to keep arrival we going, then make an agreement with that school to keep it going. I call this progress and I don’t understand the hate.
Kansas Basketball alone can hold the big 12 together as well as K-State football is huge. And we're adding Colorado, TCU just went to the college football national championship and so many teams are really good. Big 12 is safe
Well, I barely watch the NFL anymore. If college goes to the elites, I will ignore the same old, same old and stop watching the elites. I would truly prefer watching lower level football that has true college tradition and meaning. I think there is a huge market in that. So, perhaps ESPN+ will gain revenue because I'll gladly watch it rather than the big network football.
The nfl has fixed a lot of its regional problems of the past the only team not in its region is Indy cuz they aren’t in the south, otherwise maybe KC but it’s in a spot where u could put it in anywhere. Also, the NFL has 2 conferences with 4 divisions in each conference. College would be nothing like that with 100 plus teams they have
Living in the south still the same for us, the problem is everyone trying to keep up with the SEC. You can get as many teams as you want The majority of these conferences were trash before anyways, like PAC 12 for example, has been trash for 15years or so football is just not played at the same level the further west you go!!!!!!!
Add 4 more games to the schedule and stop playing small teams for 3 or four games. Big 12, pac 12 should merge. Usc ucla jioned big 10. Should have wild card games also.
I am worried about players possibly opting out of the playoffs. Think about it. Players already opt out for bowl games. Who’s to say a team with a lower chance of winning playing a higher ranked matchup won’t have those opt out in the first round? If players opt out then the rankings become scewed
I've been telling you this for 3 years... it's here now... little boy pros... not about team... not about school... not about fans... all about fans money... the fans pay but have no say... just like pros...
Yes it is sad it's sad I open watching College Football anymore unless they go back to the old rules. NIL and Transfer Portal have also killed college sports
Yea and thats the thing it's gonna Fing suck when that happens because you aren't going to see teams play a rival a true rival expect for every 5yrs if it comes down to 2 Conferences and honestly the Big-10 is overrated and the schools were luckily they had gotten close to 100M
They still don't play the players right? Players can't do deals, right? Players likeness can be used by others though still, right? Yeah I don't care if they lose money cause the money isn't even going where it is supposed to to begin with. Consolidation of power and money, does this suprise anyone anywhere ever?
