I totally agree with these picks except for 1. I don't agree with the pick of Washington beating Indiana because of the diffence of what INDIANA brings on both sides of the ball. I think INDIANA Wins at home
Do you personally value quality wins or quality losses more? In a hypothetical scenario, let us assume that team A and team B are the only two options to select for the final playoff spot. They have the exact same schedule, and both finish the season 11-1, with 11 games against unranked opponents and 1 game against a top 5 opponent. Each win is by 7 points and each loss is by 7 points. If team A beats the top 5 opponent but has a loss to an unranked opponent and team B beats every team other than the top 5 team, which team do you select to get the final playoff spot?
Great question. That’s a tough one. Take it like the ND situation. The A&M win is huge for them, and they have to root for them to do well to cover over their NIU disaster. I think top 25 wins are great, but I’d want to see the record of the non top teams. I’d say on a whim, no top 25 wins at all would be a killer for me. You have to at least give me a top 25 win. So let’s say this team isn’t a group of 5 team, that ls good. Group of 5, no top 25 wins, heck no. But if their power 5… I’d go with the team with the top 5 win. We’ve seen great teams Teams lay an egg. What are you thinking?
I hear you, but those teams aren’t ranked anymore. They have no current top 25 wins. Like G tech didn’t beat a top 25 team in FSU just because they were ranked in week 0. I hear your point though. Illini is a solid team, with that defense anything can happen. Wins vs Neb and Mich aren’t too 25 wins anymore but you’re spot on their still good solid wins.
I think you’re taking things a little too seriously my guy. We’re all giving our opinions here. If you disagree on a pick, voice it. I’m open to other opinions. Iron sharpens iron. You may see something I don’t, and vice versa. Use it as a forum bro, I’m open
Ok, fair enough I guess…. But that has nothing to do with the info provided in the video. But I hear you out. I don’t add them up at the end of each week though. Maybe that’s something I’ll look into in the future though.
