hi!! considering I was not a great student freshman and sophomore year, then had to work my ass off junior and senior year to compensate for that, YES I do lol. 1.get involved! clubs are always so fun in high school, it looks great on an application, and you will probably end up talking to people you wouldn’t otherwise (new friends!!) 2.eventually try to fill some leadership rolls in those clubs. also document volunteering with pics cuz they look good on a resume. 3.keep those grades around A’s and B’s, you’ll thank yourself later. 4.get an SAT practice book. you could pay for a class but youtube has everything you need to know. 5.give yourself a lot of time to think about your college essay. it’s far away but it’s really the only thing you give to colleges that allows you to say anything personal/tell your story. 6. always be kind and true to who you are
Ahhh I just got accepted to temple and im starting to hear back from other schools too but the dorms here are just so nice compared to other schools wow
Hey! Thank you so much for this video it was super helpful and the best video of 1300 especially since it's been renovated. I'm going to Temple this fall and I'm staying in 1300 and was wondering if I could ask a few questions! First, how high up is your bed, do you think someone would be able to sit on the floor under it at its highest setting? Also I saw that command hooks aren't allowed in the dorm rooms. Are we still able to use them to hang stuff as long as we don't rip stuff off the walls? Lastly, do all the closets not have doors on them anymore? Thank you for helping me with all this! Have a great day!
Can you pick your own roommates or they pick them for you? Or do they give you roommates who are doing the same course as you? Also, love your room and the video!!!!
Yo awesome video! I am transferring here in the spring and I'm super hyped. For now, I'm just watching dorm tour videos lol. What are the pros and cons of 1300 hall compared to other dorms? This looks like the most potential dorm I have seen so far.
thank you!! and yeah i’m glad I ended up picking it! i’ve never been inside the other dorms but i’m pretty sure 1300 was renovated 2 or 3 years ago so everything just feels and looks newer. 1300 also has private bathrooms like shared with however many roommates you have versus other buildings that I think have communal. it’s in a really good spot to for being new on campus. right next to morgan hall which has a some dining options. it is the opposite side of campus from the library but the walk is 5 minutes maximum and I honestly feel safe walking across campus in the dark. 1940 was my second choice tho!
Hate to tell you but there will be a new student in there or ... if the RA finds your stuff in there they might charge you for the room ... just saying ... You know schools will always get their $$$ 💵💰🤑
Hi Lizzie, I am an international student and will be attending Temple this fall, how is Temple for international students, and which housing plan do you think would be perfect for me. 🙂
@@yirgalemberhane2895 You can get your i20 as soon as you get your admit letter and deposit the initial amount. Some unis gives you i20 straight away while some ask you to show funds befor they give you i20 so please email them asking for your i20. You can only enter United States befor 1 month from the starting date of you program so plan accordingly 👍 also if you still have doubts regarding anything please do not hesitate to email you university, they are always excited to help you.
I know this is video was made several months ago so idk if you’ll even see this 😂, but I’m thinking about transferring to temple next fall as a sophomore and I’m wondering if you have any tips on the best dorms? Thank you! ❤️
omg hiiiii!! best dorm for a legit dorm experience is 1300 but a lot of people like morgan hall which is like a dorm/apartment mix but it’s more expensive. a lot of sophomores live in the view, vantage, and morgan hall tho
follow your gut instincts!! but yes I truly truly love temple and can’t wait to be back on campus. just comparing how I felt after the temple tour versus other schools I toured, I knew it was the one
I’m rewatching this video bc I’m going off to college in the fall and I’m trying to get some inspo. But I can’t stop thinking how cute ur outfit is!! Where’s the shirt and shorts from?
1300 is pretty much on the exact opposite side of campus BUT the walk doesn’t take long at all and it’s a basically a straight shot. I almost lived in 1940 because of how close it is to the FMA building and Tyler but 1300, I think, is way nicer
