I get you! I think high school can be hard socially and occasionally academically. At least in my experience. But college is definitely a lot harder personally

i love watching your videos, i’m a junior in highschool and even though i cant really “relate” to the college life i still enjoy the content. a way you can grow your channel more once you graduate is doing a navigating life in my 20s or navigating my life after college series because i’m sure some people don’t really know what to do after college or even high school because you’re in the “real” world and this series can consist of finding a job, hobbies, balance between work and your personal life, and moving. it would kind of be like a solo diaries but in a way of navigating the real world after school. hopefully that made sense 😭.
What’s crazy is I’ve actually had a plan to do a 20s diaries series on my channel as of like living and navigating living through my 20s already! So I’m glad you agree that would be a great concept to see on my channel. Thank you so much truly 💞
Can I just say. God literally spoke through you to me as confirmation. I absolutely feel you with not fully focusing in college because of wanting to work in my actual career goals while in school. I’m a senior and I finish in summer but I will literally cry every week wanting to dropping out and doing my own thing. Having a school degree is a back up but I also I don’t want a corporate job. My major is Business Marketing with Digital Marketing but I want to be an entrepreneur. similar things like you such as working with brands, modeling ( lol I know you don’t model btw) , being a content creator and helping people through content. I feel like school gets in my way to fully focus on building my career. But at the same time God allowed me to move, step into a journey and find community here that I wouldn’t of if I didn’t transfer. I feel like going to FAU was needed for all the opportunities I’ve gotten and people I’ve met but then actually going to school it self isn’t the only thing I want. I going to follow through and finish because that was still apart of the plan. School isn’t hard but it becomes hard if your not fully committed. I understand you and I’m glad you mentioned that being a women of God means that His plans is working for us with purpose. And our challenges and journey have purpose too. keep doing your thing girl , thank you for the consistency while in college 🫶🏽I know it ain’t easy 😭cause it’s hard for me to pick editing over hw but i literally delay hw because I’m not motivated 💀. Okay I never leave long responses , I’m done now 😂❤️

honestly, this is how im feeling going into my freshman year, I wish I went to community first honestly bc although I am blessed to have my mom who's paying for it, its a lot!! and I feel baddd and I wish I was more open to the idea of community college.

Hey girl, coming from a person who is currently finishing up doing her two years at community college and transferring to Georgia state… It was worth it, but it has its downsides. For one, I went to school completely free at community college and stayed at home with my parents. I got to work part time and still have a flexible schedule to do whatever I want. Also since I’ll be getting a degree I’ll be going in as a junior at Georgia state so that’s a plus for suree. On the downside, there’s really no social life and you are out of the loop. It’s harder to make friends because you don’t really relate to other people. It’s also harder to network and be involved on campus since there aren’t many clubs or things that you can join. but the best part of it all really is just being debt-free.
I’m happy you were able to find a way that works for you! It’s too late for me to do a community college but that’s okay I know it’ll work out how it needs to. And I’ve heard that a lot too about it being hard to have a social life because it’s not the traditional route 💕
I love all your videos. I graduated college last spring and I thought I wouldn’t keep watching you (and other college RU-vidrs) bc I no longer related, but I still do! It’s more about your personality now and just seeing what you’re up to. Whatever you put out I’ll be supporting 🫶🏽🫶🏽

Even if you were to do a come shop with me, I would watch it. 2) It is normal to feel confused an overwhelmed by college, I know I definitely was. That's okay, take it a day at a time and do what you can in the moment❤

I’m a sophomore in college and I don’t know what I want to do and I’m also doing bad academically. I have no motivation for my classes and i don’t apply myself as well. I like science so I chose a biology major but I hate all the math classes I have to take for it. I do so bad at college math. I feel like a failure cuz my mom wants me to get my BS and I kinda want it too so I can get a good job because I want to make at least 100k a year. But I’m struggling so bad with school right now that I’m thinking about dropping out. Idk what to do anymore😅😢
This is so real for a lot of college students, especially with your parents wanting something for you that you may not want. You just have to decide if you feel like you're really being called to not be in college or if it's just a bump in the road you have to persevere through. There are many ways to make a $100K+ a year without college it just takes research and deciding if it's for you.💖 Good luck, we're in this together for real
My mom is extremely big on having a real college experience which includes living on campus, building connections, and lifelong friends. My Freshman year I was already signed up for housing and I told I wanted to back out and just stay at home since it was August of 2020 she said don’t worry about the money. Go for the experience. I don’t regret living on campus when I did it definitely shaped my college experience with the friends I’ve made. 💗
