The loneliest college move-in day at Stanford University... here's my ENTIRE cross-country trip to freshman year of college! Also the covid-19 test swabs make me cry.... that's all :')
I traveled from Colorado→ Utah→ Las Vegas→ Los Angeles→ San Francisco→ Stanford, California!
Moving into college during a pandemic is 100% not optimal, nor are online college classes. I wish I knew how much the wifi and phone service would suck out here beforehand but at least I get a whole apartment to myself :(
I'm very grateful that I get to be here this fall and hopefully they'll be able to bring back more students in the spring but until then... it's Stanford on lockdown. The food is surprisingly good though! It's all prepackaged and healthy!

So my 16 year old is a high school Sophomore (straight A), so I started watching your videos with her, but now I watch so I can pick up gems too from the best of the best 🙂. My oldest daughter is now 29, but graduated cum laude from undergraduate and attended a year of grad school at GA TECH and absolutely hated it. She didn’t return after her first year and took some time off. She is now in grad school at Carnegie Mellon. TY for your videos, they are really helpful. They have inspired me to want to drive with my daughter hauling her dorm stuff across the country, if we don’t kill each other first 🤣....

I live near Stanford and is personally my dream school as my parents don’t want me moving out of state. I’m not at the age to start admitting to colleges, but I am at the age to start thinking what is right for my future. Other than that, I am glad you chose Stanford as your college! here are some tips from someone who lives by Palo alto and Stanford university 1. trader joes is the best place for groceries it's always cheap and has bomb stuff 2. when you have time go to Stanford shopping center its sm fun 3. when you don't want to cook order food from tender greens Its such a good place to eat and they have healthy food. 4. bring a bike its a lifesaver because the campus is so big 5.always bring jackets even when it's hot the weather changes frequently (it's so annoying but you'll get used to it)! hopefully, these helped, I love your videos and I hope you have a nice time at Stanford! GO TREES!!!

Only some students are allowed to live on campus and everyone lives in graduate housing. Between undergrads and grad students there's around 6,000 people on campus.

Yo! This is a very premium dorm, all of the dorm the I've watch so far does not have a mini kitchen and also if i will choose about something for my room, I'll choose to be alone but also with my one bathroom but unfortunately i think i will never experience this, sadly :')
