Taylor - your concerns are pretty much the same as everyone else's concerns. Truth be told, I had the same fears you did. Will I get along with my roommate? What will they be like? My freshman year, I ended up switching rooms because my roommate wanted to be with her best friend, which was fine. They wore too much perfume anyways. We called them the perfume bottle twins. The 2nd room I was in, my roommate ended up moving out, so I had a room to myself. I met my best friends in our dorm and also in my classes. You'll be fine. Just be yourself.

are you going to get a mini fridge? also, are you to get a TV for your you; you know for those days you either have no classes and you just want to chill out in your dorm room all day? also, it would be soooo cool if you had storage bins fill with snacks and the other bins are filled with food, plates, and kitchen utensils as well as another storage bins is filled (to the top) with bedding, blankets, sheets (both flat sheets and fitted sheets) and extra extra beauty and hygiene supplies
