ICT AND VJTI, both of the colleges are near to my home and my two cousins have graduated from VJTI and ICT so I can give you an idea of how the colleges are. 1.) VJTI, being in Mumbai attracts all the national and world level banks for software engineering positions as analysts. Location is top notch, you get to do many things in Mumbai. Thought many people from the recent batches do not sit for campus placements as most of them opt for MS in USA or MBA. 2.) If you love chemistry, ICT will be heaven for you. I repeat, none of the IITs are as comparable to quality of education in ICT. It's the best institute for chemistry in India and is one of the top 10 colleges in the world for chem engg. Mukesh ambani graduated from ICT in chem engg. 90% of the students here opt for higher education.
Its not that only maharashtra students can get admission , anyone giving MHTCET is eligible for admission . Also the case of scars is rarest of the rare. And i must say that syllabus of COEP is exceptional which focuses on limited concepts and more depth of knowledge rather than jst an overview. of topics.
That's great, but please remember that there are much better colleges in India, but if you are talking about Maharashtra, yes it is probably the best after IIT-B,IISER and at par with VNIT. Best of Luck

@JHIGYASU STUDENT yeah I know coep is best college in Maharashtra Which we can get through mhtcet entrance, but you should learn English In terms of kya hota hai Iit and nit are the best college which we can get through JEE Rip inglis 😂
I am a student of COEP. The fees for General are 84,000/year. And the cutoff for Computer Engineering is within rank 200 (General). IT has been merged with computer since 2018. The placement statistics is excellent for Computer and IT. Of 170 people (Computer and IT of 2016-2020 batch), 78 from Computer and 75 from IT have been placed. So we have 90% placements in the AY 2019-20.

No help from alumni bro they just ignore the current students studying they dont even help during any fest and honestly dont go for it try for nits and iits its good just for name not in reality if u get admitted u will regret to go in amd extra curriculars dont have any importance here as they say u hv to cm to lec. Even u hv any fest or matches nd ground hostel college are all at other side of highways hence so hectic nd clubs are the worst part they even dont want to take good students.....this is what i hv experienced(honest review)
