@Ryan Grunden yes! you can have a single, double or a triple! and you rank them on the housing portal in the summer ! nothing is promised tho unfortunately

I was so stressed about the swim test even tho I am a good swimmer lol but then I saw someone who went before me literally doing doggy paddle and they let them pass

I always felt like cornell requiring people to know how to swim was a great idea. So many people don't know how to swim and should for safety.

im transferring to cornell this year and am so nervous about the swim test i am also literally practicing in the pool so thank u that was so relieving

Wow was looking for Cornell info. Stumbled on your videos. This one v informative- thx You need to meet my daughter (maybe you have). V similar admissions journey (saw that video), also Cornell'26, dif college/major, dif newer dorm (your assessment spot on), also HS XC run, and also rushed (dif sor), other clubs. Your videos have given me a little view into her somewhat parallel experience. Thx

haha yes of course! it was mainly a joke about how as a communication major i don’t get a ton of grueling homework so i can’t really speak for most of the harder majors like engineering or pre-med!!

I hear some of the rooms are arranged in a pod, how are the pods in your dorm like?

hi! so in my case it’s 5 girls (two doubles and one single) in our “pod” and we all have separate rooms but share one bathroom! our “pod” isn’t really in a separate space or anything it’s just in the hallway with all the other students. i have been to other dorms however where the pod is almost a separate area with two double rooms and a common space in the middle! so it really depends on the dorm!

it depends on the dorm at cornell! some had multi shower bathrooms but the one i was in had one shower that was separated by a door from the bathroom!! so not too bad tbh

Ha! Many ppl are too obsessed with their studies to even think about dating. I will always remember the lunch date I had with Lynda. She was extremely shy, cute, and quiet, we had a good conversation, but we never met up again.
