Nurse here. I've had so many "refugees" on my unit, from Afghanistan, Mexico, El Salvador, etc, and none of them spoke English, none of their friends/family with them respected the hospital rules, and some even tried to sneak into the unit with foods they couldn't have or children that weren't allowed.

So what? maybe the kid got a full scholarship like a lot of people(partial or not) and doesn’t have to pay for school, good for him if that’s the case. Whites tend to just pay the fine and not challenge it, where Hispanics just give fake names, or cry racism; so cops don't even bother. That's what they call a "stutter". I used to stutter like crazy back when I was in school, and got made fun of daily. It not a huge issue anymore since I'm older, but when you're a teenager with a stuttering problem, public speaking can make it so much worse. It's one thing to say the kid was ill-prepared and didn't have a leg to stand on, but another to assume he doesn't have a speech impediment and make fun of him.

I LOVE that Charlie defends everyone who comes up to the microphone to speak with him. He makes his supporters in the crowd be respectful to them. He makes sure that they get to actually say what they came to say. I respect the heck out of Charlie for this.
