Just some friendly advice. Before you queue comp or deathmatch, you should have an actual goal in mind something specific you're trying to improve on orsome bad habit you're trying to correct, a specific protocol you're trying to instill. You won't hit radiant if you're not very intentional with your improvement. You can't be too attached to individual wins and losses. Its about improving your winrate across the board. That means quickly and accurately making the right decisions more often than most of ur teammates and opponents AND having the mechanics to execute on those decisions. Good luck on your journey!

After being high immortal 3 for every act and having the same mindset some years ago I can confidentially say that it is hard and mental dragging to be playing Valorant day in and out. My channel got attention after I started just enjoying making videos in my free time, taking it more chill and spending years to become good at thumbnails and editing. i know you’re immortal and i’m not but i think good advice & motivation no matter who it’s from is still viable. i have this one friend who is negative almost EVERY game and it will take a miracle for him to be positive. he plays sage and although he’s not good at gunfights , he is a CLUTCH player. will use wall right , slow , stick the spike if defusing while enemies think he tapped , get crucial assists , etc etc. he will ONLY do good in 2v1 , 1v1 , very very rarely 3v1 clutch scenarios tho (he might get 2 but then overheat and can’t lock out the win). he’s the definition of Sovas line “if you are not a good shot today there are other ways to be useful” except he’s not a good shot literally everyday LOL. Basically the point is if YOU’RE the role player for whatever reason (confidence , passive personality , etc etc) , you’re not expected to top frag every game but you can be the best teammate every game and contribute to everything else. As a controller main specifically omen main i only top frag by baiting , using reckless TPs , and trying stuff i think wont work. Also my gunfights are pretty good to where i could play him like a more passive dualist. If you want to top frag as a controller clove or omen >>>. I’ll die a lot and maybe end the game 20 or more with 15+ probable deaths if i get ressed 😅

i feel you hard when you say that everything up to imm1 is just the tutorial. honestly i was gonna quit the game after hitting immortal, not really caring to go any further, but once i hit immortal i realized how actually dogshit i am, how dogshit everyone else was, and how immortal is not a good rank at all.

i peaked at immortal and realized i couldnt really keep up and didnt have the willpower to grind any higher. Immortal was like the end goal for me so i eventually stopped playing to focus on school but every once in awhile I wonder where I could be if I truly committed to the game. I'm really excited to watch this series and see if you can make it. PS: Music choice is incredible, like I never expect to hear Claire de lune, Intro and Rondo Capriccioso, kretuzer sonata, liebeslied, and rach Sleeping Beauty in a valorant game. Big Classical fan? As a immortal 1 peaking immo 2 i agree with you , before reaching immortal i was like i am soo good at this game , but after i hit immortal , i get to know how sh1t i am compared to other actual players , i used to think i will feel superior after i reach immo but it was quite opposite i got humbled soo quickly in my lobby , its not that i play bad or something but i got to know all that was just the starting easy part , the actual difficulty starts from here

an advice from a lower rank im asc1 EU at 7:00 ur smokes are really bad bcs it creates multiple angles where the enemy can come from, u want the edge of the smoke to be just at the door frame. also bucky and any shotgun are better used when you crouch bcs it makes the bullets more compact look at your crosshair with any shotgun you will see the crosshair get's smaller and the bullets are more compact which means more bullets will land on target
