I think that if Hua Chenyu was born in a western country, he can reach more heights now. Now he has a unique understanding of music and his own music world. He doesn't follow the mainstream. He only does his inner music. Even if people don't understand him, he doesn't give up. He shows me his love for music and even madness. He is definitely a great artist I'm a Chinese fan. I hope to see him be seen and appreciated by the world. He was scolded by many people in China and thought his music was not pleasant and unique. Many Chinese people can't accept his music, but once you get to know him, you will be completely attracted by him. He can use music to move your soul. I always believe in a word Only those who are not changed by the world can change the world. He is the one I have been waiting for
He is STUNNING! Everything he does, is well, MAGICAL. He really draws you in and gets you right in the heart, every single time. So want to see him live. I heard his upcoming November concerts sold out in seconds. HE is a ROCKSTAR for sure.
Totally agree! He really takes us in a journey to feel all the emotions in the song. I develop a new appreciation about the songs after I heard him sing and perform!
Yes, Hua Hua seems to get all the skills. He is all-round artist. He has so many styles for you to discover. All are great. Keep on reacting to him then you'll know. Thanks.
I enjoyed watching your friends' reactions. Thanks for pointing out that he started out without actually singing with words. I've always noticed that he starts out slow or low, then builds up. It's nice to hear others viewpoints... "Bullfighting" and "I Don't Care" would be nice to react to... Thanks!
Kudos to the people behind he scene on this show, they are amazing, especially the wardrobe people, they are always perfectly dressed for their song choice. Kudos!!
Nice! Seems you appreciate Hua's voice. You need to continue watching all his performances as it will show his versatility. His duets are also awesome. Be sure to get Eng sub if needed.
I like yr reaction, very detailed. A white, a black n asian, different culture, different taste coming together to share reviews. Awesome. A happy family. Peace ✌
Oh, I would love to hear your impressions of DIMASH, singer 2017 performances. Specifically, the first, when he was introduced as a dark horse into the competition. He sang SOS. Blew everyone away and he became an over-night super star in China. He is from Kazakhstan and 23 in this show. Don't let him fool you. He is classically trained and stands at 6'3"!! In this show, he learned several other languages including English. Sings Hello and All By Myself like no other. Shoooook still to this day.
I think they would like Bullfighting. As college students, I'm sure they would understand the 'darkness' of that song... that great marching drums, the rapping, etc...
Pls also react to Huahua's live performance "drinking alone". Huahua was given this Drinking Alone song which is kinda a "weird" song that he can't possibly follow the original version to compete in a variety show, so within 24 hrs prior to competition, he has to recompose the song, learn the lyrics, guide the musicians and backup singers all within 24 hrs to perform this live: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-lm9oPBHoC0s.html
He has a new song out Conversations with a Martian Child. I will send you the link, please react to it, it is so different and Fake Monk, Saddest Song, his cover of Radiohead CREEP, UNINTENDED but his voice in 2018 is so much better than in 2014-2016. In 2013 at 23,he won Super Boy. When hi was on The Singer he had done 3 concerts each year 2014-2018 and his voice kept getting better,, There is a movie short/ video Quasimodo’s Gift, you should watch that and while doing the 3 concerts, each one would be different. He is one unusual highly talented performance artist & he will be 30 on 2-7-2020! He looks 18. My new favorite Artist! 🥰❤️🌸🌸⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️
I've seen a video of Hua Chenyu in a contest in New York City. It was with several Chinese singers, including his good friend, were competing. They performed with a small audience who would vote on which singers they liked the best. There were 2 American judges. Anyway, Hua included a tiny funny part in his performance. Unfortunately, the video of that New York City contest was taken down from RU-vid. I tried to find it - and it's gone. I've seen reactors reacting to this video - and now I can't find it. I'm guessing it was a copyright strike?
I feel like his recent performances kind of lost his crazy artistic passion compared to his last Singer set of songs. Not sure if you guys feel the same
