Four college wrestlers say they are grateful to be alive -- and for each other -- after going toe-to-toe with a grizzly bear in Wyoming over the weekend. Full story: abc7chicago.co...
Grandpa: "The bear knew it couldn't win so it eventually gave up 😎. Me and my friends really only went to the hospital because we heard there were cute nurses there."
That dude who clearly got mauled is a badass. Dude attacked a grizzly bear that was on top of his friend and took the worst of it without thinking about it. Most people would've ran but he fought instead.
@bertom9077z,amen to that. The kids got balls the size of peach baskets.I definitely would NOT WANT to have to wrestle either one of the two guys who fought the bear. They went up against the king of the woods,on his own turf, and LIVED TO TALK ABOUT IT.GREAT JOB FELLAS.SPEEDY RECOVERY!!!!
The kid that jumped in is a straight up hero and savage. What an amazing dude. Very few on earth would do that. Thats a friend you stand with for life.
@@orion9k he did t sacrifice himself, hes alive and well. Youre the incredibly stupid and weak one for not putting your life on the line to protect what you love
The absolute balls of the guy who started attacking a *bear* to save his buddy. My god. This is the definition of, "You should see the other "guy." as well as "ride or die.". Wow. Harrowing.
The word of God and Yahoshuah says "A true friend is WILLING to give his/her life for a friend." ❤ Thank God they both (& all involved) made it! Victory to Yahoshuah!
@@yunggeist3211 yes its insane, others calling his friend a coward for freezing up, I'd love to see what they'd do when a kodiak approaches them, and they seem to think fighting a bear would be something feasable. maybe it is for this dude but its not
@@je7647 Nah, probably 99.9% of people would either freeze up or just have absolutely no idea what to do. I don't think that would make anyone a coward, I mean It's a terrifying scenario all around. However, doing what his friend did *definitely* *does* make him an absolute hunk of a buddy to have around. That's "named my firstborn after him" type shit.
Dude who goes into fight mode instead of flight after seeing a grizzly attacking friend!!!? He should seriously win awards for courage... that's on a different level.

@caliso1d4do it is logical and it's what most people would do. You can't win a fight with a bear and you can't run from one that's chasing you. The only 'logical' chance to escape is when it's attacking someone else. Don't look down on people and act like you'd fight a bear to save your friend. I'm not even sure I would.

I survived a bear attack in 2019. I hope the age of these young men will help them with the PTSD that will kick in months after the attack. To the young man that was clearly mauled, its a long road ahead, but this experience will give you a tremendous amount of personal confidence and maturity no one else your age will have the benefit of. I seriously love this guy who went after that bear on his bud. He got the worst injuries out of both but stayed in the fight. That is literally insane what he did. That’s a hero right there through and through. Makes me so proud
Goes to show who he really is underneath the facade. When emotions kicked in, he could not walk away even if it meant his death. His subconsciousness made that split second decision for him.
From my experience with wrestlers, if that 'attacker' was anything but a grizzly bear it wouldve been pinned on the ground helplessly in a split second lol
What a great friend people get called hero for not much these days but this kid who saved his friend is genuinely a hero that’s putting his own life on the line.

Sounds like the boy who was attacked first, who was helped by the friend, did not return the favor. After the second boy endured the much more damaging attack, he called out, "Brady!" and he heard nothing in response. And you can see the boy sheepishly look like are you going to expose my cowardice? He saved that boy and then he hid a short distance away.
