I just want to thank god for my city for my province where school is close to free compared to those school. God, the best private colleges in Montreal that are ranked in the best in the world are around 5-10k per year and that’s private.
Rising Stars private colleges usually get better endowments from rich alumni and donors (and usually give out better scholarships than public universities). And public universities are funded by the state.
Okay no one asked but I’m gonna tell anyway. I really wanna go to Central Michigan University. I want to become a professional musician, and their ensemble is the 2nd best college ensemble in Michigan. My band director went there and he knows literally everything there is to music. I’m only a sophomore so I have time to change my mind but yeah. Their mascot is a Chippewa but it’s okay because the Chippewa tribe said it was. Before football games the tribe comes and blesses the game. They really appreciate the arts there, they host workshops and camps so I’ve been there a lot. The only downside is that I’ve heard it cost $80,000 to go there.
