But this time I decided the reason for this, the Collegium,because you are the person thanks to whom I fell in love with this brand, and when the Collegium popped up in new york. I personally told Nick that you are the reason I fell in love with this brand. Unfortunately today the sneaker community is 70% of those who are interested in the resale price of sneakers, or hype, and only for a minority, sneakers are more than a way profit, or hype, so I wanted to say Collegium is great as always, they are the best, and you are Sean one of my favorite sneaker review youtubers. Great review! I have a few pair of the Devastators and love them. I'm looking to add a pair of Alphas once they get a colorway in stock that I vibe with. I'd love some sizing info on those if they happen to get you a pair.
The one thing that kept me away from these was the platinum grey suede overlay on top of the beige. If it was just beige or platinum, I would've gone for it. I don't like that two tone look. If they kept one color instead of two, I think it would've been a no brainer for me.
One thing I didn't like about Collegium were their flimsy soles. Everything else is great but that's one thing that has kept me from trying the low top model. How do the soles feel?
@@SeanGo I mean the midsole, I think Collegium went with a soft feeling and comfortable midsole however the sacrifice is the durability of the midsole. The midsole felt thin when I owned the high top model.
I'm so over this oversaturated faux vintage aesthetic that every brand has been adopting in recent years. Its already been done to death and its still new. When are we going to stop obsessing over the past?
