I really enjoyed this video as we bought a camper two years ago. Unfortunately we have not been out much as it is so hard to find available spots here in WI. I have to say kudos to your backing the trailer in...we still struggle. I love your camper and I'm sure you will too, nothing better than being out in nature. I'm really liking the camper -I just have to learn better organization and less stuff-lol. I'm getting better backing up -its very difficult to get camping reservations. there are a lot of places on the Florida coast I would like to enjoy but no availability but I was lucky. enough to get John Pennecamp for next week for 2 nights-I'm so excited! Feel like I won the lottery lol
@@SoWhyDontYou Do you ever get leary being a single female alone? I am not trusting of people after where a woman was grabbed outside store and killed here..Now I go nowhere without hubby.
@@celleduffel1533 Yes I do-more so recently. But I stay away from situations I deem not safe. And my biggest belief-listen to your gut-when in doubt get out! I have done this several times-thrown alll my stuff in SUV or camper and got out of Dodge. Worry about clean up later. I also have strategically Placed knives( I even wear one around my neck when I hike or just around camp sometimes) and over abundance of bear spray everywhere. Since I can't have a pew pew. and I do the usual put an extra chair out, big hiking boots-to make it look like someone is with me. And also leave yourself an exit -this can be used In any situation. Plus I have a mean face when need be-its my Navajo stare.
@@SoWhyDontYou Navajo stare huh...gonna have to show us. I truly am glad you are being safe and taking precautions. Heck I used to walk alot and after having someone behind a tree and watching me..I dont do it anymore..and I hate not being trusting..the world out there just isnt safe anymore. Other than having a spouse I have 3 yappers, doxies lol..they keep me aware to aware :)
@@celleduffel1533 lol. Its a very stern mean stare....it took me a year to learn lol. I enjoyed working on the Rez. I would love to have a goodie but I work too long of hours not fair to the pooch. agree sad we can't trust anymore....

Thank Charli! Appreciate you watching the vid. went to Shark Valley yesterday in everglades and did the loop road-birds and gators. Mosquitos terrible as sun went down. Learned a lot yesterday about everglades and Native Americans living I. everglades.
Ah I love watching you drive around, such a beautiful country. I visited Sarasota a few times in the past and always loved the sights (in the winter/early spring...too darn hot for me in the summer!). One thing that always puzzled me about Florida, why does no one have solar panels!? Especially in those huge open spaces, you could power Florida if those empty spaces were used for solar lol
Sarasota is nice-the beach is super wide and beautiful white sand! I wondered the same thing. They are doing it in the southwest-they have solar farms out in the desert and a lot of people are putting solar on their houses. I forgot the name of the community in Florid but I think the entire community runs on solar-I'll have to look it up. I just did a tour of Korashan state park and the houses are built with huge windows and like a vent on the roof-so the heat escapes. These houses are old from the 1880's to early 1900's-well old for the US-lol they didn't have AC so they had to design them to help with the heat. I don't know how they did it-guess I'm spoiled.
@@SoWhyDontYou Reminds me of the first house I stayed in in Sarasota, I believe it was built before A/C In the centre of the house there was a huge fan in the ceiling going into the loft space/attic, the idea being, when the outside cools down, you open all the windows, turn the fan on and it draws air in from outside and into the attic, cooling the house.
