Watch as Collin Morikawa, Tommy Fleetwood and Sergio Garcia show off their ball striking and short game skill with old hickory golf clubs and balata golf balls.
I just love how even the volume is, such nice transitions from barely audible talk to eardrum tearing music blasts - it’s almost as good as the shot tracing. 🙃
There’s enormous advantages with a hickory/ persimmon (circa 1900 club) tournament. Shorter course =quicker rounds . Shorter course = less watering required, less maintenance less chemicals . Hickory golf swings require finesse, timing and exquisite feel from the players. If the PGA had just one hickory event a year….. I would watch every second of it .
I'm so pleased to see Taylormade staying out of the Liv Golf politics - a very smart move. Sergio Garcia is always Sergio Garcia the person and legendary golfer.
Yes, legend has it with the original Pro V1s if you align the ball on the seem it would go further. BTW I played the original Taylormade golf balls that came in a plastic tube, not a box.
How about you don’t blow our speakers on every video by having the music be 5x’s as loud as the players mic’s?!?!?!?!!!! I have to keep adjusting the volume it’s ridiculous!!!
Let's see Rory at the range with a full set of these clubs testing distance and spin on them with a TP5! Compare them directly to a current set without changing the ball.
Great video but please balance the audio better next time! Had to turn it right up to hear the players then during the music intervals it nearly burst my ear drums!
Still always remembered the the olskool clubs of me father back then, yea you do think it's gonna snap bcoz the shaft is woods, buy its actually really kinda strong than steel shafts.
Well as you would expect it feels really hard when you hit it. You also have no idea how you hit it with a wood club because no matter where on the club face you hit it it still feels really hard.
