Wow, Scratch has really come quite a ways since I used to use it ten years ago or so... custom blocks look great. Back when I was using it anything at all complex needed to be 1s1s or else it'd lag like crazy... looks like that's probably not really a thing anymore haha. I can't even imagine trying to do stuff like this with 1s1s. I crashed it enough without that hahaha Your channel is super cool, I love that kids new to programming are able to watch these videos and learn about all these advanced techniques and ways of thinking about problems and stuff. It's great stuff! I can't wait to see what the next generation of Scratchers end up achieving when they inevitably grow out of Scratch like I did, with the massive head start they're getting. Super exciting!

The split list in my script appears as dissociated numbers, and I can't figure out why. When I type in numbers manually, it reverts back to normal, but becomes separate again as soon as I change its value using a script. This causes issues in my code since I'm using a mouse click instead of a key press to change the pin's state. If that can help, the project is unreleased but its code is 755055851
this completely blows my mind. everytime i think "this is definitely NOT possible on scratch", somebody just does the thing. at this point scratch's only limit are clone amount and resolution (which is kinda fixable with turbowarp?)
Good job on the RPG tutorials :D I have a suggestion though, what if you wanted to make it so you can't go through an object on one side, but you can on the other side? Would be useful if you wanted to be able to fall off hills in your RPG game.
So cool! I was wondering how we were going to do collisions, and this seems so creative! Now, until the next episode comes out, maybe I can see if I can adapt some of your other existing tutorials into languages like JavaScript. Might be an interesting experience.
um i don't know why but the pins are not perfectly aligned, the second and third tiles top rows aren't aligned and I double checked the scripts and they lined up with your code I don't know whats wrong :( nvm I FOUND OUT! WARNING TO ANYONE WANTING TO DO THIS: don't have any tiles one pixel thin horizontally it will mix up the center of the costume and mess up the pins if you want something like a horizontal line try to blend it with the background so it stays fixed but the players don't see it :D

Hi, maybe I can help someone with this. So for me the problem was that when I pressed 1 all pins randomly distributed themselves. I solved the problem by turning the 5.5 into a 3 at "defind Draw Pin of Type type" in the setting and if "distence to moiuse pointer < 5.5 then" - And then it worked.
Sir after episode 6 I noticed something in my project. The player and other tiles started leaving a trail behind... Is it my computer limitation? Or is it my bug... Kindly give a suggestion. And can we make the game run faster?

For me it worked until the blue dot colisions part , for some reason the bottom left corner would just not turn blue (same was for the code) 111111110 -> this is always what happens when i try to fill the whole area. Please help...😥

hu, but isn't a map of pins in a 2 dimensional array basically a texture? wouldn't it make sense to just create a black and white texture for every tile, black indicating that the pixel is solid and white that it isn't and collide with that? I wonder wether that laggs to badly
