At last, a clear and straightforward tutorial on the basic operations. You could search high and low on the internet for such a humane introduction and browse yourself blind. Many thanks.
Hello Martin, I really like your videos, by chance, Do you have a linguistics program to follow with students, with topics to be developed in a class? I'll appreciate it!
Thank you prof ! I was looking for corpus linguistics RU-vid videos and I’m glad I found your channel. I’m interested in ur previous corpus linguistics sessions, since this one is “session5”. Could you please advise me where to find them. Thank you again
Hi Reina, you're right, it's session 5. During this past semester, we had to switch to digital after week 4 because of the corona virus. Once I find the time, I'll record sessions 1-4.
That guitar is very conveniently located. Maybe I should keep my tuba nearby for classes this coming year. Thanks for this, it's great and, right now, I really need more corpus linguistics in my life.
Hi Mohammed, I have not made videos of the first four sessions. Our university switched to online teaching mid-semester, and this is when I started uploading. Sorry! There are many other videos, though.
Thank you so much for your sharing, professor! But I think this video is incomplete, with a sudden stop at 32'44'' in the end. Maybe there is something lost? (e.g.: I didn't find the link for downloading your excel table with various means of calculating collocational strength). By the way, I am Jack from DMU :)
@@MartinHilpert Sorry for my carelessness and impatience, I am now in the middle of your continuation video! And I am really looking forward to your subsequent uploading of this "corpus linguistics series"!
