Also to be noted in Colmar, is the Frédéric Auguste Bartholdi Museum. Bartholdi is the creator of the Statue of Liberty. The mini-me model of the statue is on display in the museum. @25:46
Thank You! Finally finished in August what I started at Christmas. Merry Christmas, I hope to visit there some day. Both sides of Grandma's families left this area in 1870 because of the war with Prussia. One went to Pennsylvania and the other went to Los Angeles with 60,000 others, so now I'm 50% French. I wonder how many French are Celtic from long ago? Than maybe I'm all Celtic from before there were countries.

@ProWalks Thanks, I'm planning to visit one of these. Your videos have helped me narrow my choice, Strasbourg is certainly a frontrunner for me but Colmar is not too far by train so I could fit in both if you think it's worth the visit? :)
