Yeah man took me a few days to get my daily clothes in line with the weather. Still not quite warm enough. Might need gloves next or even a scarff. I was thinking by April it would at least start to warm up a bit.

I was in Germany 25y ears on a river cruise. Cologne was cold so had some really good hot chocolate at a little cafe.

Hi Jeff where you walk is not the old town its the shopping street and that is way its alway busy . The old is more to your left on the River Rhine .where the statue in Heumarkt that it old town. In WW2 COLOGNE was flattened by uk and USA it was rebuild look for old b & w post card they sell in gift shop. Dont forget it still Carnival.

Cologne was basically completely destroyed in WW2. The „old town“ was rebuilt later. The Dom (cathedral) is more or less the only thing that survived the bombings. Frankfurt wasn’t hit that bad. The market place you were on isn’t used as a weekly market, it is used for Christmas market etc.

Good day Jeff. Thank you for taking virtual walks everywhere for us.If I may, I would give some recommendations on the list of really interesting cities in Germany. In this list :Dresden, Munich, Bremen, these are some of the largest and richest in the history of culture and the "spirit" of the Germans of the city. There are many other extremely small towns, but there is nothing unique there in general.I also hope that such states as Hungary, the Czech Republic, Italy, Poland, France, Spain, as well as many cities from Belgium and Holland, which you unfortunately did not mention, are on the list in turn. In general, you are in Europe, which means there are a lot of new and interesting things ahead of us. Thank you for your attention and good mood.)
