Summary Guy 1. Dior Sauvage 2.Jean Paul Gaulthier le male 3. Versace Eros 4. Armani aqua di gio Profumo 5. Dolce & Gabanna The One EDP 6. Mont blanc Legend Spirit 7. Parfume de Marly Pegasus 8. Viktor and Rolf spicebomb extreme
This is a great list for people starting their collection. People might hate on it because everyone uses them, but if you want fragrances that are no brainers and you are starting out with fragrances this is a good list.
Fragrances I personally would recommend for beginners are: 1. Office: Prada L'homme or Acqua Di Gio Profumo 2. Casual: Mont Blanc Explorer or Versace Pour Homme 3. Date night: Armani Code Absolu or Prada Luna Rossa Black
Top Five I would recommend for beginners would have to be (cheapest to most expensive): 1. Club de Nuit Intense Man 2. Le Male Le Parfum 3. Dior Homme Intense 4. Acqua di Gio Profumo 5. Spicebomb Extreme All mass-appealing, relatively affordable, and safe for nearly every use-case.
I got Club De Nuit Intense Man and I wouldn't recommend it to my worst enemy. That cologne is nothing but pure harch chemicals that could irritate your nose the entire day. Le Male Le Parfum is good, but I can only see it working for a very particular kind of man, the kind of man that is tall, handsome, cool, calmed, collected, confident., the kind of man that is already attracting women without wearing cologne
One of my favorites is the classic green polo. I switch between that and my bay rum aftershave. I prefer woodsy scents with a light touch of citrus. But a good light scent will always go a long way.
I own 6 of the 8 you mentioned. But what got me the most compliments from strangers was Club De Nuit Intense limited edition from Armaf. It’s a clone of Aventus by Creed. Both women and men, but more women, stopped me or stopped next to me, to ask me what I’m wearing, and said things like: you smell nice, you smell amazing, that cologne suits you… But my personal favorite and signature are Silver Mountain Water by Creed and D&G the one EDP.
I recommend washing with coconut oil based soap, moisturizing with pure coconut oil and using pure and natural essential oil of lemon for scent. The lemon is masculine, astringent and alertive while the coconut is feminine and smells like the beach. Lemon oil literally eats bacteria so no more unpleasant pit odor. The yin and Yang of Mens scent and all natural to boot.
@@DwyaneWadeCountyA lot of people consider it a fall/winter spray, but I still use it all year! And even so, they have different versions of the spray so I think they have you covered. For example, they have have an "intense" version of the spray, so I feel like that's their "winter" version. They also have another version that's lighter, so that's their spring/summer version.
Another fragrance list without my favourite all-season fragrance: Blu De Chanel Parfum. Anyways since Parfums de Marly PEGASUS & Acqua di Gio Profumo are on the list, I'll approve this list.
The best fragrance is the one YOU like. Women and men perceive fragrances differently, there is no point in struggling to pick up what she may or may not like. Just make sure you know how to properly wear a fragrance and never overpower your imediate environment.
I personally can say you should give the profondo a try it's not as popular as the profumo so the chances her ex had the same smell as you when you aproach her are smaller
You said “ideal man” and didn’t include hands down one of the best scents on the planet, L’Homme Ideal EDP. I can’t wear this without every woman at work going crazy.
Nice picks. It's a mass appealing. However, there is at least 3 parfums from parfum the Marly that could be more relevant choice: Layton, Herod and Carisle.
Worth mentioning all these frags are no brainers when coming to compliments. You could rather wear a different scent like Givenchy Gentleman 1974, Polo green or stuff, without annoying the ladies. I don't think Acqua Di Gio Profumo is masculine at all compared to the ones i mentioned
While I think all of these fragrances smell good, most are "mainstream". Isn't the point of a fragrance to not only smell good, but also give you a unique identity?
Most people don't even wear fragrances, so you'll smell unique wearing most of these anyway especially once the smell mixes with your own skin chemistry.
Really an excellent list. Surprised not to see an aventus style fragrance. Something like Cedrat Boise or Mont Blanc Explorer. And could also have included a blue fragrance like the classic Bleu de Channel or YSL Y EDP.
Hey Ashley, great Migos plug😍. Also Kayne is putting out bangers RN (Eazy and City of Gods) 🔥. What are your thoughts on Baccarat Rouge 540. IMO - it's the perfect blend of Bitter Almond and Saffron/Egyptian Jamine and Cedar
Sean Paul gaultier le fleur white bottle. They Don't make anymore 😩.... Romeo gigli 😩 also....all the Versace jeans fragrances 😩 Ralph Lauren romance 😩
great video but you are missing a lot of good ones here: Creed Aventus, Kilian Black Phantom, Dior Homme Intense, Chanel Allure Homme Sport Eau Extreme...etc
Solid cologne is easier to not over do, lasts longer and usually costs less. I use Root & Muddle... no affiliation, and to prove it I bought 3 pack and their white wood smells like womans deodorant, I still use it tho. You're putting too much weight in you cologne if you're trying to find the "perfect smell" just get something that is subtle and pleasant.
Hey Ashley 👋 I am 58 and wear Versace Eros when I date and the ladies always comment on how good I smell… 🤷♂️ Not sure about having to be early twenties…. But love your show and keep up the great work…. Well done 👍
I’m 40 and do own Eros, but I’m not wearing it because I do find it more …. I don’t mean any offense, but the word juvenile comes to mind. Don’t get me wrong I like the scent, and hearing an older gentleman wear it and be complimented is reassuring. I would like to know though which Eros you have, cause the most popular and the one in this video is the EDT. There’s the EDP and the parfum which suit older men.
@@rammul7801 I'm 33 and even I feel too old for Eros. I thought it smelled fantastic when I first tried it so I bought a bottle (EDT) but I quickly regretted the buy because I think it's simply too loud and too sweet to wear for extended periods of time. Maybe if I was still in my 20s and going out to the clubs I'd wear it every Friday/Saturday night (or every day if I was still in college!) but if I'm stepping out to a function at my age, I'd rather go with JPG Le Male.
Hey Ashley, it doesn’t allow me to turn on the post notifications for your channel because it says you have content made for kids? Might be something to look into. Great video!
I don't like the hey you. Subliminally it seems like you forgot my name. Love your chanel. Thank you for your advice and the time you put into these informative videos.
@@I_will_show_you_monkey that’s because all the women like it. Don’t be the weirdo getting some weird funky cologne that nobody buys or likes. Go with savage. It’s popular for a reason. It’s sad that many RU-vidrs are trying to pretend like savage is played out just so they can push all there weird nitch colognes with higher profit margins. RU-vid is a business. Imagine if they just went on RU-vid and said “yep, savage is where its at, No need to look further”. Lol That would be the end of thier RU-vid business.
Lets face facts. I have a nice collection of fragrances, Creed Aventus will get you more compliments than ANY other. And its not even close. Dont wanna spend the cash? Just get Armaf's Club de Nuit Intense Man. It really is nearly as good! Cheers!
You just chose the most common fragrances... For all you nerds, who don't know where to start, this is the gear you are starting with in your Playstation game.
I am a heavy sprayer i don't do sissy. unless i am in an office then its just 5 sprays. i got a couple of hundred frags lol. Great list i do have all of these hahaah all great fragrances.
I have to disagree with some points made about Savage. Dior Savage came out in 2015, not 10 years ago but it sure feels like it. It does make you stick out like a sore though, espeually when overdone with it's harsh pepper/citris smell. Smelled it on a guy in the subway and it was instantly identifiable and bleh. I wouldn't call D&G's The One manly, but it is seductive and kind of a weak secent that you have to keep reapplying and be very close to smell. At least it's very affordable, esp used bottles. Outside of that, lots of great options, most I have bought and used myself.
You didn’t mention which “the one”. You had photos of the EDT, EDP and A special edition. The original is actually the EDT and not EDP. They all smell different. Eros also has three version, so you would need to break it down. Legend spirit is also very sweet, on skin when sweating, it turns into a sour scent. Don’t use terms like perfume or cologne, use fragrance. It’s 2022 and nothing on that list was an eau de Cologne.
Le male top note smells like plastic bag and Eros smells like Chinese and indian templer, The One edp smells like cheap car perfume or candle with lavender scents....if you from other country better try out the tester before purchase....😂
