It's a new day and a new launch. We've moved north up the valley to Ansermanuevo, which is about a 1:45 drive up from Roldanillo. The weather has been really unreliable so rather than chancing Roldanillo, which has a small launch window, we've decided to chance it here.
It's a very nice site, nice bar and restaurant at the top, and the ride up is part of the experience. Everyone piles into a Willys Jeep and ride ups in the back.
- Plan A is to fly back to Roldanillo
- Plan B kicked in when northerly wind kicked in, which was to fly north as far as we could.
- Plan C actually what happened, which was landing at the bottom after the wind killed the thermals and we didn't have the skills to stay up.
