Colombian Air Force Kfir fighter jets and U.S. Air Force F-16 Fighting Falcons assigned to the 79th Expeditionary Fighter Squadron conduct flying operations together during Exercise Relampago VI, over Colombia on July 26, 2021. The Israel Aircraft Industries Kfir is an Israeli all-weather multirole combat aircraft based on the French Dassault Mirage 5, with Israeli avionics and an Israeli-built version of the General Electric J79 turbojet engine.

When the USMC F-21’s (Kfirs) were sent home, the passed through Transient Alert at Dobbins ARB while I was on duty. My ANG load crew was sent over to do something minor at the request of the full time people there. It was neat to lay hands on such a cool jet.

were they returned to IAI in Israel? Do you know where they are now? Maybe they were sold or leased to another country, or used for parts for other export Kfirs like the ones in this video...

@goldenstateaviation2861 I believe the F21s were used in training missions to simulate a specific 'enemy' fighter with similar aerodynamics to the delta-winged IAI Kfir/F21. Perhaps one of common Mig fighter models? I am not sure, but the private aggressor training company ATAC still uses them to simulate enemy fighters in training (contractor) missions.

Was at the airport in Colombia and saw them take off. Thought a plane was about to crash into the terminal it was so loud lol

I live right next to an airbase and a few times per year we hear a small group of fighter jets pass over our small town multiple times for training while going between college classes. They are so loud that we can't hear each other talk. Most of my friends are annoyed by the noise, but my reaction is more of a... curious one. They only pass over us for a few moments, but during those few brief moments prior to return back to my reality, I often wished I was the one flying up there... (being a pilot might be annoying with all of the paperwork and studying though)

1) You misspelled the name of the country. 2) The FAC is one of the biggest air forces in the continent. They have 24 fighters, 60 ground attack planes, and a shit ton of intelligence/support/transport aircraft. Certainly more than enough for the counterinsurgency operations they do.
