9:20 I've had my DNA tested. I have ancestors named White. I'm also a 10th great granddaughter of William Bradford. On my dad's dad's side, I'm Scottish and English. Our progenitor can be traced back to the battle at Mistic Fort, and before that, his trail goes cold. I seriously honestly belive his parents were Roanoke colonists. I think they went inland to Connecticut and merged with the Narragansett people, until Major Mason and Miles Standish arrived and formed the Connecticut militia. The Pequot war started in 1636. My 9th great grandfather was there. There was SO MUCH going on up in Massachusetts at that time, it seems odd there were already white people down in Saybrook. Just for starters, Major John Bradford and William Backus were founders of Norwich CT. (So was my 9th great grandfather. ) There is a Mason and a Backhouse (which I've seen as alt for Backus,) listed as passenger names on Roanoke expeditions. I know I'm right on this!
@@Lockhart3XGenZ Bro, idk. Probably eaten by animals since, you know, it was literally an entire continent of forest. So what? You think they built a ship and traveled to Singapore or something? Cmon.
@@Lockhart3XGenZ maybe some children or women were taken as slaves, but I still think it’s most likely they either died off from famine/disease and/or were wiped out by natives.
there’s actually new facts that there are descendants from the original settlers in that area today, so that’s proof that they intermingled with the natives!
Squanto opened up Pandora's Box on his own people! He helped to ushering in that destructive element and helped it to survive and thrive......I can see why they poisoned that sucker! If that's what they did. And the Roanoke Settlers probably ate each other!! Mystery solved.
This is a well, detailed example of American history. Good pictures. Different and new to my eyes. When i think i must have seen them all.... The stories are just as in-depth as the pictures. and i wanted to watch porn.... i still might.... but im still watching this first. 😂
