I really enjoyed the history tour and stories. You guys should focus on doing more of these types of videos if you can. Doing paranormal investigating and infamously haunted sites, even if they aren't designated tourist sites like this. I'm sure there are plenty of old haunted houses with stories and hauntings attached to them.

13:55. I had to replay that part 3 times. I kept waiting for the punch line, them I realized he was serious. SMH. 😳 Sounds like He's been disconnected since the Civil War. Hope nobody believed that.😜😂😒

Wow! @13:55 Dude started talking about that payphone has probably been disconnected since the Civil War. He also said cell phones been around since about 1890. Okey dokey!! 😜

Odd question - any idea where Linda got the cap she is wearing around 35:30 +? It has a snap pocket on the side. Very cute & possibly handy.

Would the reconstructed Palace and Capitol be haunted? Or only the Original buildings? Since both buildings in your video were built in the 1930's?
@VirginiaParanormal
@VirginiaParanormal 6 лет назад
Jamie Swope The current buildings are the ones that are reportedly haunted. It’s believed that the spirits are drawn to the land where the building once stood, not always to the building itself.

Its a shame that you couldn't get onto the grounds of Powhatan Resort. The main plantation house is haunted as anything.

Why would a recorder pick up a voice and not the video audio?

13:55 Dude said, "we maybe be wondering how they communicated back in the Colonial Days and that pay phone is how they did it." LMAO. He went on to say that, that particular pay phone with the big Verizon stamped on it had probably be disconnected since after the Civil War and that Cell Phones were invented about 1890.😳 = 😂😂😂😂😂

I have read that Martha Washington was married into the Randolph family and lived in that house before she was married to george.

Martha Jefferson was a Randolph not Martha Washington and she resided at her White House plantation until she married George and in fact they then married at the White House plantation and they both then lived there until they officially moved to Mount Vernon. 😊

Martha Washington only had one husband before George - Daniel Parke Custis.
