Thanks for this ! I couldn't figure out how to apply a LUT to the log footage in "manual mode" (ie not automatic color managed) and the answer is to go to Effects/Color Space Transform. I am still relatively new to DVR, coming from fcpx.

Can the 14 pro be color graded the same way the 15 pro max can? EDIT: It can’t. Only 15 pro has log which I guess is the big difference. I hate that none of the tutorials I’ve tried for iPhone 14 Pro color grading in Davinci looks good (this seems to be more true for HDR footage than footage shot in doors). Still, in Davinci my 14 pro footage: the shadows have no details and are all just blacked out, no matter what color settings I use or color grading tweaks I do. :(

NEVER in my life have I payed full price for a phone. I always buy used or on sale. Let me tell you, when I saw LOG, and USB-C I RAN to the apple store. sure it alone is the price of some high end cameras. But the best camera is the one you have with you. Might as well have that camera be your phone too
