Went to the Shrewsbury, Pa Amish farmers market car show yesterday, probably 400-500 cars. Had pretzel wrapped cheese steak sandwiches for dinner. Those Amish girls sure can cook. Fawn Grove, Pa antique tractor/gas engine/car show today. Paint looks good. There are some tricks to pulling tape that will lessen the chance of lifting paint with the tape. I never pull straight up/away from the surface. Pulling it at an angle over top of the still stuck tape seems to work best for me.

Maybe add a ball bearing or some grease free nuts to the paint cans to help agitate the paint

Happy day when the color comes through. They just need to stop adding uv light and flower smell to the paints so the bugs won't be instantly drawn to it from across the universe ike a blackhole.

I just remembered mine was the same color combo but my dad took it from me for awhile until he wiped out the clutch. But that was inthe early 70,s and it was still easy to find parts and get help replacing it. Keep up the great work.

Its funny how many cars were discarded as old or junk that would be considered valuable today. I watched my dad scrap several I'd love to have now. Makes me wonder what we are overlooking today🤔. We' ve been building cars for decades around here and we have a saying which is "it has to get ugly before it can get pretty". Thinking back to the body work, the grinding and welding, and all fiberglass work you've done on the car, with all the sanding and dust, that was the ugly part. Now your adding color and that awesome red carpet, I can see that you've moved forward onto the fun stuff. This is where the personality of the car starts to show itself. Its really shaping up now. As a viewer watching the project unfold in front of you, it has been really fun to tune in each week to see what has transpired since the last episode. Thank you for sharing this project with us. Its been most enjoyable and we love the family vibe thats instilled within every video😊👍

Dad and I agree! Through out the build I had a hard time envisioning the finished product, just trudging away at it through out the months. But working with the interior reminds me that it's developing its own soul, and that it won't stay dormant forever. It's gotten me excited to see the engine fire and pull itself out of the garage!😄
