I love these cards. The floral die is stunning. The color combo is as well. I think this would make a great series. I struugle to think outsude the box for using color.
Any day you make a video on color use, is a good day! You are so good at using colors that it's so helpful to me in thinking outside the box. So yes, I enjoy seeing this type of video.
What a fantastic idea for a series! Love that the first episode uses complementary colors. Of all the color theory options, complementary is the one I find the most challenging (and use the least). Considering tints and tones is a fabulous reminder that complements can, in fact, complement each other without screaming contrast. Looking forward to more installments in this series.
Hi Yana I hope you have settled into your new home and craft room. I would love to see more videos like this talking about complimentary colors and the color wheel. I have been card making for a while now and I’m learning the essential use of the color wheel. I love your videos💕 and would love to see you more, if your settled in your home. Thank you for your inspiration!!
Yes, please! I’d love to see more. Your colour palettes are beautiful and great inspiration for card projects. Thank you for sharing your tips on how to choose colours and elements to create a beautiful project. ❤🇨🇦
Yes please, more color study videos. This was great, as your videos always are Yana. Loved both cards and I have to have the flower dies. Spellbinders makes the most gorgeous flowers.
Another fan of your gorgeous cards and your new Color Study Series! I’m all in because when I see yours, I ask myself why I didn’t come up with that beautiful combo. Guess I need to actually USE my color wheel! Thanks, Yana! ❤
I love your color combos, and would have never thought that you would have trouble with them at all!! MORE Please!!! You talking us thru it seems more doable for the rest of us!! Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hi Yana! I think this is a great series to do because I also struggle with color combos so I know I'll learn a lot watching your series, you're so creative!
Color combos are always a great place to start a card & for me. Colors often reflect my mood or need for a specific type of card. I'd love to see color combos with red that don't look like Christmas. Thx!
Just lovely! Yes, I would like to see more videos like this. It was very interesting how you put the different cardstocks together. Never would have thought of craft as in the gold family. Guess that's why we have you to watch so that we learn all these interesting things. Thank you very much.
who knows, maybe I'm wrong with kraft being like gold :D But gold is yellow and kraft is like muted yellow, so in my head kraft and gold are the same :D
@@Yana.Smakula Oh, I wasn't disputing your knowledge and it makes perfect sense just never thought of being in the gold family but when you paired it with an embossed gold sentiment it sure went well together. You are the best and love your videos and the knowledge that you impart to us. Thank you.
Gorgeous!! Was so excited to see a Yana video notification on my phone ❤🤗 you always inspire me to craft which lately has not been possible for me, but when I am able to I have saved almost all of your videos for inspiration! Love the colour edition videos too always helpful as sometimes I never know what colours match x TFS
I also am interested in exploring new color combinations & ways to discover those options that are appealing. Most of my products are from Spellbinders but I will say that I do enjoy Altenew bc I have found in their samples color combinations that can be different. I realize doing even an eye pleasing different color combo doesn’t appeal to everyone’s eyes but I think it helps to exercise creativity just beyond color. Thank you for another fabulous video, we all look forward to many more.
Always beautiful color combinations by Yana! I look forward to seeing more. Another excellent and easy to use resource are the Color Cubes and on line Color Catalogs by Sara Renae Clark. Since Kristina Werner featured them a few months ago, I use them to help me choose colors for all of my cards.
