Great video, not enough Japanese guys come to fish in Colorado with BFS setups, its worth it! So the trout about 5-7 minutes in to the video are not cutthroat but small brown trout. The brown trout have the red spots. The cutthroat have a different look to them, no red spots. Next time you're in CO I'd love to show you where you can find those cutthroat. Come back in late July or August and all the prime cutthroat headwaters you'd love to fish will be waiting for you.
The yellow beads are hook keepers, I made them. The gloves are a soft thin material made of deerskin, I like leather gloves because they last a long time.
I like your videos a lot. Thank you for your time and efforts! If you haven't already, you should check out the lower East corner of B.C. East Kootenays or the Kootenays in general, Canada, B.C. We have many good streams, lakes, creeks, and huge rivers. Big trout and Char in the rivers, streams and Lakes. Many different species in our lakes as well. Check it out! It is also a very beautiful location, very rural with small towns. Anyways, congratulations on your successes! Peace ✌️
The reels I use are currently available on the market: Shimano Calcutta Conquest pfs. I also have the Megabass Pagani P 300g, which is no longer on sale. And the ABU 2500 C. I bought the classic reel at an auction, and then had it finess-tuned at a Japanese custom shop called Avail. The Shimano Calcutta Conquest bfc is probably easier to get.
brook trout is not the original species / native to Colorado, those are native to further towards east coast of USA and Canada.. Cutthroat trout are native to Colorado.
Thank you for the information. When I went to Pennsylvania in April, I saw the original species of book trout. I'm heading to the Rocky Mountains again the day after tomorrow, and next time I want to catch cutthroat and blue trout. I'll update my SNS again. Thank you for the information!
