Good evening beautiful people 👋 This Sunday, part II of our spectacular drive across Colorado. From Leadville to Grand Lake, our last night in the States and of this wonderful road trip. Passing Winter Park, Silverton, Breckenridge. What a beautiful landscape. I absolutely underestimated the altitude of this wonderful area, so we tried to empty our stockings and clear the fridge as possible. Yes, it was a hell of a bbq 😋 and a lot of beer and red wine, and we’re already at a altitude of 2.600 m. So, I got a bit dizzy at that night, but I slept perfect 😚. But the crossing of Rocky Mountain National Park the next day, on our way to return „Boostie“ and catch our flight…this one breaks my neck big time…😂 The air is thin at 4.600 m….especially with a hangover, I learn this, that’s for sure…
So, with that being said, enjoy the ride to our last stay at KOA Grand Lake, our door for the last underestimate ride, coming up next sunday. I wish y‘all a cozy sunday evening.
