It strikes me how amazing it is that you can ride like that and see no-one. In the UK we're standing shoulder to shoulder everywhere we go! Small island, too many people on it lol. I'm envious of your space out there.
Sadly, it wouldn't have mattered even if I did. There are thousands of rez dogs that roam everywhere on Navajo Nation. Every gas station you stop at will have like 5 or 6 stray dogs coming up to you while you fuel up. Buffalo Pass is very far from any towns, and even if I called the Nation police...no one would have come. It is a sad reality of life near four corners.
