The Alpine Loop is something this group has been looking forward to for the last 3 years. We finally got the chance and luckily we had amazing weather for it! We start out in Saw Pit where our home base is (The Bivvi Hostel is amazing, don't judge cause it's got the word hostel in it), we then make our way over Ophir to Animas Forks where we start out Alpine Loop journey. From there we take Cinnamon Pass to Lake City where we have lunch at the Southern Vittles.
We meet up with a very happy Nate and head up over Engineer pass so that we can make our way to Ophir and back to the beer and food. This was one amazing ride where I wish there was more time to just sit and look but only so much time in a day!
