hitting the steel is the same as missing the net....that is why it doesn't count as a shot on goal. Either the goalie pushed the player so far out that they had no net to hit, or the shot was not on goal. Either way its not the difference maker you are making it out to be

He was AMAZEBALLS in game #1 when they lost, and “Big Val” elbowed Sheifele and Morrisey aim the chin, to try and take hen out of the series. WORLD CLASS. AMAZING. Of course, the “refs just couldn’t see it,” and the NHL “Just couldn’t suspend him.” So the Jets should break his ankles in 4 places, and smash McKinnons head in. Fair is fair. But they won’t.

Not just penalties. Look at all the games they've played in this series and look at the turnovers. Jets have a major turnover problem, to me THAT is what is killing them. The penalties to me is just an after effect as the Jets are frustrated and angry. They look like a team that has lost hope and has lost their edge so now they're lashing out because they don't care and don't have the heart. Everybody is blaming the goaltending, or Pionk, or this person, or that person. The issue is the entire team. There's like 1 or maybe 2 players that seem to be trying to give it their all, the rest just seem to be showing up for work because they have to. They need to regain their spirit, passion, and drive if they ever want to stand any chances of winning.

Jets and Leafs are similar in the playoffs .Sammy gets pulled Hellybuyck gets pulled . Both teams down 3-1 . Lots of mistakes and penalties. PP can’t score and PK can’t stop anything.

Look at how slow and lethargic they've been when they have some amazingly fast players. All season long it has always been mentioned how Winnipeg plays a fast game, but now they look like they are learning how to skate or something. I don't know what their issues are, but something needs to change to get this team going for the future seasons.
