Hello Sam. Well ! Don't even know where to begin with this one ! I think this could be the best one yet . The standard of the cars was absolutely fantastic . From "R Zin Hell " to the 1930 home build Lund. Those 2 rods with the trick in board rear discs were utterly sublime . I did wonder if those axles are based on the XKE rear axles . There was too much to take in . It's times like these when l wish l could be there with you to guide me around these amazing vehicles . Thanks Sam . You're the man !

I remember in the 60s and 70s guys punching vents in the hood to help keep the engines cooler. don't see that much on the hot rods now

There are traditional ways to do things, but traditions stretch and evolve. A hot rod is a very personal thing to the builder. Only a rude fool would try to present “rules” to a builder.
