Join us as we take on Black Bear Pass out in the San Juan mountain range near Telluride. The fall colors were amazing and there was a little bit of snow at the top. We did Imogene and Black Bear in the same day. I am making separate videos for each. My buddy Jake came out with me for his first time ever going off road and in a stock Tacoma at that.

Another great video, i don't know what kind of camera you're using but I think it does a better job of showing the angle of the steps section better than most people's shots do. Also kudos to your girlfriend for getting the great footage and working her butt off 🤣

Your buddy made me nervous when he kept slamming on the brakes. Was out there 2 years ago and ready to back. Last year I did Moab and wish I would've had more time to stop in the San Juans as well.

Stumbled upon this after seeing your photo on the San Juan Mtn group page the other day. I think I did this 2 days after you in my stock ZR2. You made it look easy man! I was 💩 myself on my stock 31s! Nice video. Really shows the crazy angles of the trail! Did you just use 4 low or did you lock em?

I did it in 31s last year! I’m glad you liked it. I was in 4 low on the up hill but was in 4 high on the down hills

Good stuff bro. How do you have your zr2 set up in this vid. My zr2 is also a gasser and im 100% stock. Looking at all my options.Did you put the AEV High Mark fender flares or the Bison? Whats your wheel size. What leveling kit did you use? How didn the tires affect the v6 power and gear changing with the stock gears? Kudos to your buddy. Hes one brave sob

Thanks! I did the AEV fenders, 1” performance level kit from peak suspension, I have 17” rims with 35” tires. I have yet to regear because nitro still has not sent me all the parts yet. It’s been almost a year since I ordered them. With the stock gears I definitely lost power and the shift points aren’t the best anymore. I have a tune but it’s set up for the new gearing. I’m able to handle these trails pretty well though and I stay in 4 low most of the time unless I’m going down hill.

It’s just a DJI Drone and a Hero 10 GoPro. They both shoot in 4K though and I do some color grading and editing in premier pro that help make the footage look it’s best. I appreciate the feed back!
