Went out to go after some colored out Brook trout in a small backwoods creek. Ended up with quite a few fish to hand. Was a nice, cool, fall afternoon spent in the woods! Hope you enjoy:)

There’s this place in Lake County Illinois near where I live i’ve heard it’s really good bass fishing it’s called the nippersink forest preserve and I’m going there later this week

I get catch and release but those fish are so tasty it's hard to let them go. Edit: you are absolutely correct about them being fragile. Consider getting a small net?

Justice when you catch any trout spiecies you NEED to wet you hands before holding them or they will 99% of the time die from thier slime coat being taken off and try and keep them in the water if your taking a photo of them
