Would this foil napkins? I’m guessing ai would need to to somehow print image (black toner) into the napkin. I’m in search for a machine that will foil napkins like you machine does with paper. I am currently using a quill pen in my cameo3 machine. Where I design the image in silhouette studio and the quill pen embossed image on to napkins. This is a hit or miss because the foil will tear through the napkin.

Thank you for your comment. I can confirm that the smoother the paper the better the finish. We would not recommend using any textured media with this product.

Hello Nagha Raj, No blocks are needed this machine. You print your design onto the paper using a digital printer and then pass this through the machine.

Hello IraQNid, Thank you for your comments. The option to initiate the fan yourself is because you can foil and laminate on this machine - it is not a pure foiling machine. Numeric keys would not work because each of the keys are separate to the menu indicator below. A touch screen would be a nice development but as prices are keen in this market it is not necessary. Loading is very easy. The heated roller only take a few minutes to heat - a little longer to cool. The model shown is an entry level solution and auto feeding would take it out of its viable price range....we have higher specification (with touch screens etc.) systems for auto feeding. No model for simultaneous colored foils but you could cut the rolls down and do it on this model. Yeah I saw that the machine has dual uses. So when you're in the foil mode why don't the fans get activated automatically by default? Having to remember to press a dedicated fan button seems rather pointless.

@@IraQNid There is no foil only setting, everything is adjustable - so the system does not know if you are foiling or if you are laminating - but it would be a good programmable option if we were to have a touch screen then it could be automatic.

The printed area is from a digital printer or copier using toner. The foil sticks to the toner that has been printed.

Thank you for your enquiry. Our ColorSplash printers will print 250gsm paper but this device is for foiling after you have printed using a digital printer such as our ColorSplash. Many thanks

Thank you for your enquiry. You would initially print only the logo/text on the Intec ColorSplash printer, put this through the CF350 to be foiled and then put back through the ColorSplash printer for the remaining artwork to be printed.

Will the foil not be affected by the heat of the printer during the print process?

@@intecprinter Hi there. Another question on this. The company I use for foiling will print in full colour, laminate the sheet, print the areas to be foiled on top of the laminate, and then run this through the foil process. Would this be correct for your machine?

@@weddinginvitationsdurban Yes that would be correct. If you want to also just foil your sheet you can print and foil with no need for lamination - you only need the over-printable laminate when you need to product a coloured image in the background or if you want to foil over an image.
