It's absurd honestly. I wasn't hateful at all and expressed that I LOVE her several times. I've been here since about 5k subbies and I was blocked on instagram because I expressed my disappointment in her last NFA challenge look and that I believe that someone else deserved her spot that would have tried harder. I also thought that censoring her fans and silincing our opinions and feelings was shady af. There is going to be criticism in her line of work, some negative and unnecessary and some negative but completely honest and necessary. It's not the criticism but rather the way you handle it that matters. She could have said "okay, so many people feel this way...what did I do wrong and how can I fix it to show my viewers that I hear them and respect their opinions?" But instead she blocked us, called us bullies, and made herself out to be a victim. It makes it hard to look at her the same now. She has changed in just 6 short months from the genuine, honest, and authentic Nicol she was before and it makes me ridiculously sad.

i think the thing isn't so much that she made a mistake as it is her look seemed like it didn't have much effort put into it, and that it was incredibly similar (to the point of being straight copied) from another MUA on instagram. so people started making a big deal about the maybelline thing to get her disqualified. But I agree, being nasty and hurtful about it is so super unnecessary. Regardless of whether I like her look or not, it's not like she killed my dog or something. She's a person with feelings!
+BarbieBex05 I'm from Colorado where we get dry + altitude = yikes. Make sure that you don't abuse hot water. It'll make the problem worse. Try to moisturize as soon as you pat dry from the shower or washing your face. Within 5 minutes. An oil to remove your makeup will help keep the moisture in. Like coconut oil or avocado oil if coconut breaks you out. The Liz Earl hot cloth cleanser works well for that as well. Lip scrubs will be your bff. Jack Black lip balm and lots of water help too.
Cypresssina yeah ive been using lukewarm water to shower and then taking a cold rinse after - i finally figured out a way to make my josie maran foundation look amazing and not make me look dry - thanks
am i the only one who knew exactly what she was gonna say about the foundation? cause as usual she loves it (cause she got them for free). nicol when they send you free packages theres nothing on the package that says that you have to say good things about it. Be like the others such as desi, nikkei, jaclyn, cali. when they don't like a product they say they don't, and thats how people trust and like them.

I do feel bad that she's getting hate, but you have to follow the rules of the competition. It's just like homework; if you make a mistake on it, even if it was an accident, you still lose marks.
