No disrespect April, I am also African American, and biracial, and truly think this talk about Blackness is very discouraging and disrespectful to other races that make up the Democratic Party. I really get sick and tired of hearing this notion that Backs are the backbone of our party. Can you imagine how this impacts the latino, native american, asian, white, and east indian constituents. This divisive language needs to stiop. I think it plays a key role in white mid and low income white and above races have left the Democratic party. Let's include them in your conversations.
