I'm going through something similar with my mom, so I understand the feeling when it comes to coloring or needing distractions. Sending virtual hugs. Thanks for showing the new books and supplies. I do enjoy coloring with the Arteza pencils but it's hard to recommend them when we've been waiting forever on the 120 set coming back in stock. They told me it would months ago, they just need to find a new manufacturer, but at this point I'm not optimistic about it. I just ordered those Kuretake granulating watercolors, and only because they are the only ones I've seen that I really see that have that effect with the different colors. Would love to find others.

I'm getting more comfortable with the Arteza experts. I just got them in a case and have been using them since my video. I pre-ordered the Mythographic Artists' Vault book from the Walmart website and they sent me 3 copies of the book! Some people said they were sent 4 copies! I'm not sure why that happened but I'm not complaining! LOL! I love the holographic foil on the cover, and I've never seen purple on the edges of the pages before! I have a coloring book with shiny gold on the edges, but that's the only one. But anyway, I have all of the Mythographic books, they're one of the few that I always pre-order, so this was a must-have for me! Joseph Catimbang is my favorite artist and I love dragons, so I'm especially excited for Dragonspell to be released and there's a couple others coming in 2025 that I'm looking forward to, like the Romantasy one. I'm very curious what it's going to be like! But for now, I'm getting really excited for Rainbow Realms which will be released on Nov 5th, so not much longer now!

@Tasha_75 it's its amazing how a new book can bring new perspective and new inspiration, no matter the illustrator. I think we evolve in coloring, and if we match that with an illustrator that's doing some of that too, we entertain a book not in our previously known favorites. 💜💚💙
@@kristinasartcorner yes. I've recently gotten really into Kirby Rosanes, whom I never thought I'd like as they were to difficult. Now, I'm obsessed and searching out finished pages, books and color alongs. Recently gotten 6 of his books via Amazon over the weekend.
I lost my mom very suddenly the day after Christmas of 2022 I said good night for the night before and told her that I loved her the next morning my husband woke up and found her on the floor unresponsive in her room as much as that hurt me I can only imagine what you are going through having to watch your father go through what he is going through my heart and love go out to you my friend.

@kristinasartcorner my friend we are never ready to say goodbye specially to a parent. It is one of the cutest thing we have to do in life. My best advice is let yourself greave don't hold it in. Be kind to yourself and remember he loves you and and will never truly be gone cuz he is always in your heart.

I think that Aeppol book is just the newly released English version because I’m positive the pages are the same as the one I’ve had a long time…it’s too bad they didn’t put the adjacent coloured image like in the Korean version :( Best wishes for your family…it’s so hard to watch our parents get older…I’m going through the same thing . {{hugs}}
