I didn’t experience any dryness but I recommend keeping your hair moisturized and oil your ends for the first couple of days while the color sets

My hair was black at the roots and brown on the ends! I used this box color and followed the same instructions from the box and the color took just fine.

No, my curls bounced back afterwards. I did experience a little dryness but I fixed that with a deep conditioner and keeping my ends moisturized.
