first impressions are the pros: the possibility of starting from a standstill even without pedaling is convenient, thanks to the knob on the handlebar, the absorption of road imperfections is also convenient thanks to the well-made front fork and rear shock absorber. after having unlocked it it is also very fast for camping and for the city ... the cons: in my opinion none, perhaps the hardness of the saddle which could be uncomfortable for long journeys
Hi, I noticed you turned off your throttle with the P02 00 setting. Do you know what the other P04-P05-P06-P07 do? I couldn't work it out. Some of them you cannot change but some you can change from 0 to 1.
Here you go straight from hitway support : P01 is the brightness adjustment, 3 is the brightest, the default value is 3. P02 is the switch between kilometers and miles, 0 is kilometers, 1 is miles, the default value is 0. P03 is the speed limit, the default is 25. P04 is is power assist. 0 is power-assisted driving, 1 is pure electric, and 2 is the coexistence of power-assisted and pure electric. The default value is 2. P05 is to clear the total mileage, you need to press the '+' key for five seconds and then the odometer will be cleared. P06 is the automatic cruise function, the default value is 0. P07 is to restore the factory settings, 0 is not to restore, 1 is to restore the factory settings.
Hi! Did you get your throttle with the bike or did you order it separately? I'm asking because Hitway bikes come with the throttle connector but you have to buy the throttle separately (they sell it on their website). I'm not sure how it works with the Colorway brand. And I see you have the throttle installed and I think the companies are the same. Many thanks!
mine came with it but you have to fit it yourself, i didnt mind as i was moving the display near the stem and changing the brakes to uk setting (front right), i actually turned my twist throttle to a thumb activated thing and have it on the left.
mines new so far i have done 8 miles and it still shows totally full, i carried my husky up a very steep hill on pure electric and it went down on the way up the hill but was then fine/full another mile home
decent, its not terribly well made but its strong and the batterys good. its comfy to ride and the wide tyres great for the beach. i got mine for £750 and feel like its worth it. had it just over a month now and done 180miles.
I dont know, for now I am satisfied to have unlocked it...you could be right because the display allows you to set a maximum limit of 40km/h, there is probably the possibility to increase it even more, but I don't know how
if its fitted but still wont workit might be dissabled in the settings think its number 4 and try different values, higher should work. my throttle worked straight away but i had change settings to increase speed@@sarinity_jones
I had this same problem. The pins on the bike should be female, but when you get the bike there is a male orange adapter installed. You need to ply this out
A quanto arriva in elettrico?
@@davidinmossy Its good I got a hitway bk29 I just fitted a seperate throttle adaptor (£30) and now it's a beast! Just make sure you unlock the factory menu.
15.5mph whedn you get it, i unlocked mine to 20mph and it does that easy. it will go faster but its only 250wat motor but 48v battery so if your maxing it out all time it wont last long. gets to 15mph quick and 20 not much more
Can anyone translate this into proper instructions you can actually understand? There are a few videos on RU-vid but noone explains it properly or it's in German or french...
Yes. You need to hold down both brake levers and fully press the throttle with the bike off. Keep holding and turn the bike on. You should see an E20 warning. Let go after 5 seconds and it will dissappear. Then change the speed in the settings, and your bike is unlocked
Yes Sorry, im not so able to speak english well...the steps are: when the bike are off, press both brake levers and full throttle, then Power on...After that , enter the menu with + and - hold for 3/4 seconds and increase the Speed limit to 40...done!
Aren't you going to give out the directions or talk or say something absolutely useless video we can't see what you're doing the display has a glare all over it and you're just fumbling around and not saying a damn word
After turning ti bike on, press the + and - keys at the same time to enter the setting interface, and then short press the ON key to display the parameters of P1/P2/P3/P4 and so on. In P03 you can use the + to increase from 25 to 40km
