Wonderful message. I am always so encouraged as a Christian now as I listen to the teaching on this RU-vid channel. For 5 years I went to a church that taught salvation through grace but also confused that with a legalistic teaching. It’s taken me 20 years to recover from that teaching even though I knew in my soul that it didn’t jive with grace. Today, I ask the Lord to change in me what I can’t change which is pretty much everything. And, in His way, He either gives me the change straight away or provides me with lessons so that I can know Him better. I never thought I could love the Lord with all my heart, soul and mind. Now I do love Him like that and it’s amazing. His grace and His love are more than sufficient for me.
Thank you Pastor Paul. What a wonderful message. As you said, only through the power of Christ and the Holy Spirit will I be able to stand strong in my faith. May God bless you.
God continue to strengthen, encourage, bless and KEEP you, dear Pastor, you and all His flock under your care here. Thank you for your ministry, bless you for this word; the mighty, saving, Keeping, inspiring, correcting, encouraging Word of God. Amen

Stand strong in your faith, or you will not stand at all. Now this is the type of short on point message, I can remember and repeat over and over to myself when my faith is being tested. Thanks Paster Paul!
This explanation by Harry Ironside is so enlightening. Wow. I bless God for Pastor Paul's opening up of these scriptures. Thank you, Pastor. Looking forward to more of your teachings.

I think it's a slippery slope we are saved by grace through faith not of works lest any man should boast. There's nothing we can do to add to it or take away from it. However, if someone has truly come to know Christ there will be a struggle to live in accordance to God's word. I see a lot of people who say they believe in Jesus they say they believe he died for their sins but there's not really any change in their life. I would question if these people have truly obtained salvation through Christ. The person who is struggling and feeling terrible over the stupid stuff we do the very fact that they are struggling and desiring to want to live in accordance to God's word those are the ones who are truly being transformed by the father. It's not easy crucifying our own flesh. The just is God crucified his own flesh in the person of Jesus Christ. We too after coming to know him, as he begins to make us into that image of Christ struggle to crucify our own flesh so that we might walk in the spirit. He who walks in the spirit does not gratify the desires of the flesh. Bible says the word of God is sharper than any two-headed sword even dividing on the soul and the as we have thoughts those thoughts create feelings. Often we respond to our environment based on how we feel or out of the soul because the soul is the seat of the emotions. That's why it's important to know the word of God so that we can respond according to the word of God and not how we feel
Good stuff, especially about assurance of our salvation, and standing firm in the faith. I love how you always support your points with scriptural reference; this is SO important, and more churches need to provide this sort of bible-based preaching. Thank you.
Do you have a message anywhere that addresses people who once displayed the transformation of salvation but then fell away for going on 30 years now? Were they never saved in spite of all the signs that they were? This puzzles me so much about my sister.
If a person, after being saved, willingly commits the same sin over and over without repentance, will he lose his salvation because it proves that he has no heart for God. My brother in law is still married to my sister for 40 years, but he has the same younger mistress for 20 years for fun and he said there is nothing wrong to love a different woman. He still takes good care of my sister materially and treats her ok. But he needs some relaxation, some fun with his mistress. Will he lose his salvation? Will he go to heaven or hell after he die,?
18:00 How do you have assurance of your salvation? Yes to Him, but if in your response, you're still commiting a grivous sin, then how can you have assurance? Is the response to keep Praying asking God to help you. Or at least acknowledging that you're still a sinner?
