Love it I wish I had a craft room of my own not that I don’t have the room. I have a tow store 🏬 home master down stairs and four bedroom up stairs I had turn the loft upstairs into my coloring room . But when my son graduated from High School it was during covid 2020 he used one of the extra bedroom rooms as his study because college or university was on line due to covid and those classes online were loud and of course his talking is loud ! When he was in high school it was quiet but know that he’s at home he is loud. There went my coloring room . I should not complain because I know someday he will make his way in the world and leave home. Call me old fashioned but I believe as long as your child is in college and if they are staying at home to save money I don’t mind. Mainly the American way is once out of high school it’s off to college and they never really come back home.🏠 I enjoy my childhood my home will always be open to them . I am a mother and when my daughter left home at nineteen I really miss her a lot . But she eventually married and lived in the same city which was great because we spent more time together. Until she passed away in 2021 complications to the delta covid at age 38. Coloring has been a life saver for me it has help me clam down a lot keeps my mine from the heartache that goes with grieving. No mother should ever have to out live her child. We were especially close because I had her so young at 21 . We laughed a lot together and did a lot of traveling. Then when she was graduating from high school I got pregnant again 18 years later . I was 39 and it was a good pregnancy.🤰 ( she thought I was crazy starting all over again but it was fun for me ☺️ and my husband had his son). Anyway I share this because coloring has help me get through those dark moments when all I want to do is stay in bed and cry. Coloring keeps your mind busy. In someway I find it better than therapy because for me right now it’s hard to go to a grief support group and hear every one else story it depresses me more . I understand everyone is different. And I have found comfort in coloring there is something about coloring that seems to help your mind and clam your spirit. My prayer is hopefully keeping my sanity through this difficult time and finding peace of mind . Thank you for sharing,your color a longs because I am sure its help many women out weather they are going through a difficult time ,or depression, menopause, women go through a lot and hopefully they have found color as a from of mental therapy. This is why I mentioned my story. Again thank you for sharing your coloring with us. 😊💖💖marina

@Marina-dm5oj oh Marina, thank you for sharing your story. I also lost someone due to Covid complications February 2020. I lost 3 family members that year for different reasons. But I cannot fathom the loss of a child. This hobby is a wonderful way to help while you heal your heart 🩷

@@MyColourfulCountryLife I am sorry for your loss in 2020 three people that is quite a lot of loss. I never imagine in my entire life that I would lose a child, especially at 38 when she is married and a woman she was married for 16 years had one miscarriage and never tried again.. She was my shopping buddy , pedicure manicure, 💅🏻 you name it we enjoyed each other each other company. I believe the reason why we were so close is because I had her so young I feel like we grew up together and we traveled a lot together some I didn’t do with my son. Marriage young and divorced my 28 that is young. I travel 500 hundred miles from the state of New Mexico back home to the state of Texas. 10 long hours and she was with Mr the whole time singing away in the car. 🚗 Yes the death of a child is awful your life changes over night . I thank God for my son I remarried at age 34 . And God bless me with a wonderful son just the other day I was crying the next morning he place a red rose 🌹 on my bed stand . He told me it was him ❤️. I would never wish this upon any mother no mother should ever have to see their child pass away before you it’s not natural and yet I know it happens all the time. Covid was an awful disease that killed so many people that’s unbelievable. But after covid I thought I was home free until the Delta covid. At least I was allowed in her room not like at the beginning of covid no one was allowed to be with there family. I know she will be always in my heart I just pray someday God will give mr that peace of mind to be at peace with myself because the disconnection hurts so much. Again no mother should have to go through this . I don’t understand why ? Me ? But I just thank God she love the church and was in the choir. I hope I don’t make anyone uncomfortable about me sharing this ? I know it’s something personal but I felt the need to share this because since I have found your channel I have been so busy coloring and I have noticed that it has become therapeutic for me. And ,If you ever wondered what is my purpose your purpose,is bringing joy to at least one woman who lost her child and needed to keep her mind busy with coloring there is something special about the color ‘s we look at as we color blend and create. It’s so calming, and maybe even healing ❤️‍🩹 it brings beauty to the eye your talent it’s a gift 🎁 to bring joy ,fun , in coloring and sharing your knowledge. Ooh the closest match I can think of would be the poscas with the 0.7mm tip.

This colour has been discontinued now. The new sets will have the replacement color PC1105 Orchid. If you purchased a 150 pencil set during the transition process you’ll be missing lavender and lilac and their replacement colours and would have received an extra white and a blender instead. The new sets will have amethyst and orchid 😁

It's the Derwent Extender, it comes in a pack of 2. The black fits my thinner pencil barrels like prismas and the silver fits the chunkier pencil barrels like polys. They should be showing up in my Amazon store now 😁
